The Elite, a team of super-powered antiheroes, is renowned for killing their enemies. Despite the acclaim and approval the Elite enjoy, Superman knows they are in the wrong, creating more harm than good by their methods. Tensions between them finally culminate in a mass showdown on Jupiter's moons, when Superman is forced to prove that violence is never a positive.

Can't wait! The finally made the Superman movie I wanted to see!

"And for us this is the end of all stories, and we can mostly say they lived happily ever after. But for them it was the beginning of the real story. All there life in this world and all there adventures in Narnia had only be the cover and the title page: now at last they were beginning Chapter One of The Great Story which no one on earth has ever read: which goes on forever: in which every chapter is better than the one before" - C.S Lewis, The Last Battle.

Superman:TAS

Or perhaps

Superman: Super Friends

And finally, back to the very beginning on Superman animation:

Superman: Max Fleischer serials

Every single one of them features a jawline very similar in proportion. It's a Superman trait.

I wonder if the whole movie is one big psychic induced dream on Superman. Looks good though, will have to watch it for sure!

Is it me or did the art style change? Cause I swear the promo they had of this on the JL: Doom bluray looked better.

Well, multiple artists worked on the story this is based on, so maybe they decided to draw from a different style or meld em.

None of those contain the Popeye-like chin you see him have in the trailer.

None of the Superman images in those links that I saw matched the proportions in some of the trailer (the art was a bit inconsistent). In the first link there's an image mixed in that appears to be Bibbo mugging like Popeye, and if you merged that bulbous chin with the bulldozer face of Animated Series Superman you'd have a chin more like the one in the trailer which spawned my comment.

I know that Superman and Batman (and numerous other heroes) tend to have prominent chins and jawlines. I've even drawn it pretty large myself albeit cartoonishly. It was just remarkably larger than I'm used to seeing it in the trailer, and so I remarked.

We must have difference in perspective, then (which is pretty much how perspective works). While I can tell that the chin is larger than in the links I provided it I don't find it outlandishly so, especially to the modern Timmverse stuff - certainly not to Popeye's standards.

I actually find the way his eyes are drawn in the trailer more jarring. Not sure why, but I don't like them at all.

Dig the story they're using, the artwork not so much.

Gotta go with this.

I'll end up checking out the movie, but definitely hope the art style does not indicate and ongoing trend.

Too many alts to list.
