Ok, Devs and Rednames... I've got a serious gripe!

Where the hell are all the busses? It's been just about 8 years and the streets of Paragon and Praetoria are littered with bus stops and there isn't one single bus! I never see the citizens waiting for busses? Why is that?

Because, after 8 years THEY KNOW IT'S POINTLESS to stand around and wait for something that is never coming!

Why are the Hellions always mugging people in Atlas? Because they need the money for a cab!

Agreed. To protest this, I think we should all either ragequit or stage sit-ins at all the bus stops. BUSSES FOR ALL!

Wait, you can't see the buses?

Are there even cabs? I'll admit I haven't looked for them specificly, but just off-hand I don't remember seeing those either.

Be really nice to be able to use the bus as well. Like, If I am North Steel and the mission is South Steel. Wait at the Bus stop, get on, be sent to South Steel Bus Stop. I think capes deserve the chance to ride on public transportation. Lets stage an Atlas Park protest at all Bus Stations!

Maybe there could also be a new contact by one of the bus terminals. He'd be a PTA bus driver in uniform and he gives out a story arc that's related to keeping the bus service from falling into the hands of... oh, I don't know, some kind of Nemesis plot.

Maybe Paragon City isn't really in Rhode Island; it's in Western Pennsylvania, about 8 months in the future.

I'd like to see buses added. It would be pointless but entertaining if you could click on a bus and be delivered to any other neighborhood in the same zone. Just like the train, but only within the zone. Also, you might have to wait several minutes for a bus to show up. The movements could be synchronized (an insanely complex task I bet) so that the buses reach all bus stops at the same time, so you could get on one and off another at the same time without needing people or buses to just appear out of thin air at their destination.

Bonus points if you can ride on top of the bus. I'm having trouble seeing how that could be exploited for massive xp gain.

Also, as much as I'd to see buses in the game, if the devs want to give us busses instead, that could be fun too!

Not only are there no buses, but there are only about 11 cars in the whole city, all of them dating to the 1970s.

There have been bus stops in my hometown my entire life.

It's only in the last five years or so that an actual bus system came to town. The stops were apparently part of a long-since-failed attempt at public transit that was no longer in operation.

Maybe the bus system was shut down when the trains were installed?

Part of the problem is that the trams are free. You can see that the bus system failed because why would anyone pay for a bus ride, when they can ride the tram for free?

To compound the problem, some government agency somewhere is still paying people to maintain the bus stops, even though no one uses them.

They used to have them, but heroes tend to classify buses and Buicks as "melee weapons."

All the buses are full from minor characters being put on them.

I guess it's true. I haven't seen a bus since launch either, but I can't say I've missed them. /sign would depend on WHO has to make the bus. There are much better things for the good Dink to be doing!

The buses are there, you just missed them though.
