Suggestion lvl cap to 70
What id like more than this..... Is make maybe "leadership" inherit or move the most used powers from Leadership and The fighting pool and merge them and make it inherit and the other powers in a different pool renamed.... Along with extra power slots for the new inherit stuff still be able to have the 4 pool powers. Like concealment, speed, flight, leaping, etc.

None of those powers are needed as Inherents. Fitness WAS, for the simple reason that builds without it were in a very, very small minority as opposed to the thousands that had powers from it. Besides that, sucking wind every other fight is simply not fun.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

The first mission of Mender Ramiel's Arc shows the use of Incarnate powers and Levels. What it also shows is the future of Ouroboros, it falls within the Coming Storm. Once you complete Dream Doctor and look up his back story, you'll learn a little bit more about The Coming Storm and Time Travel.
I know that the Coming Storm will change the game completely. IIRC, The Coming Storm could or could not be Rikti, best possibility is Rikti from talking to Prometheus. The Rikti is the "main" alien we fight in City of Heroes and based off the Rikti Wars. Shifting it to Shivan doesn't make sense. If it wasn't for the Rikti Wars/encounters, we wouldn't have The Midnighter's Club. Why? The Arc you face the Curing the Lost. The Lost was Mutated by the Rikti.
A Vial of Blood - Lady Jane gives you a vial that she says contains blood from Hero 1. This in and of itself isn't that interesting. The interesting part is that she claims it comes from Hero 1 after he entered the Rikti Portal to stop the first Rikti Invasion. She believes that in the right hands, this blood could contain a cure for the lost. |
With the Lost cure on its way, the Midnight Squad can begin to look at other avenues to counter the Rikti. Now that you are officially a member of the Midnight Squad, I want you to go to our club. It is a place for others like us to discuss matters of the occult and mystical arts, while also preparing for the eventuality of another Rikti attack. |
Now that Midnighter Rep that we talk to in the Club, maybe he is the Dream Doctor which is the Founder of the Midnighter Club and former Member of the Freedom Phalanx. He also predicts the fall of Ouroboros (from his doing).
Cimerora is the birthplace of the Incarnate Origin.
Romulus Augustus met his end in the past when Sister Airlia convinced Imperious to sacrifice his own life to kill Romulus using a ritual she devised. The same ritual would be used centuries later by Darrin Wade to kill Statesman. |
With this Valentine arc from Duncan, We bring back the Red Widow(Lord Recluses wife). This maybe the turning point when he realizes that his old best friend and biggest enemy, Statesman was killed by Darrin Wade. Maybe we'll see him sacrifice his life to kill Darrin Wade. Who knows.

Prometheus sighs deeply. You can tell that he is struggling with telling you this.
"The Well requires a champion to defend against the force known as Battalion, which you have long heard referenced as 'The Coming Storm'. With the events in Galaxy City upon Primal Earth, the advance scouts of Battalion have made themselves known, and it is only a matter of time before the rest of the force follows."
"The Battalion is an extraordinarily powerful race which scours the Primal dimension for species who exhibit the hallmarks of great power. Those you know as the Kheldians fell prey to their onslaught, and the Battalion have been doing this for some time."
"Their sights are now set on humanity, and specifically on the Well."
So, not the Rikti, but the Battalion. And the Rikti can't be the Battalion because in the lore it's stated that they "descended from humanity, in their own dimension, an advanced alien species of unknown origin converted the humans of the Rikti dimension into what they are now." to quote the Wiki. For all we know, that "advanced alien species" was the Battalion of their dimension, but the Rikti themselves aren't the Coming Storm.

OK so it took me just a little while to re-find my post as it was moved...

I started i think at I4 and quit at I 13. I came back recently about 2 months ago. A lot of Changes have been made.
I guess having a higher level cap is unnecessary since you can exceed over 50 through Incarnates, but i still believe Origin based quests should be looked at.
Since I1 you were able to just choose an Origin. Since then there hasn't been much done with it, except for enhancements. Possibly once Omega is Available, You have to do Origin based quests and Defeat the Giant Neo-Shivan on its Home planet. Each origin would get separate quests.

The main problem with the idea (that the Devs have come to embrace) is that what an Origin means to any given player differs widely. If the Devs ever started making more Origin-specific content then more people would be upset that it doesn't "fit" with their ideas of what that means to their characters.
This game also has a long history of allowing any character to run through any content they want. They even opened up the game so that heroes and villains can now crossover and experience any red/blue side content they want. The idea of making some content being restricted only to certain Origins would be completely counter to the freedom we have now. You'd have everyone upset that they could only play 1/5 of what's available not to mention having to force people to play with mono-Origin teams which would be a complete hassle.
Basically the only purpose Origins serve (and the only purpose they should ever serve from now on) is to help you establish the background of your character. The amount of in-game content that's restricted or limited by Origin should always be kept to an absolute minimum.

While Origin specific missions sounds cool in theory, why should players be penalized by preventing them from getting certain missions because they chose the wrong character concept.
Also, you seem oddly focused on that giant shivan.
If you want to fight the giant shivans, wait till the DiB trial, then you get too.
The closest thing to level cap increases are Incarnate Shifts, which can get you to level 50+4 assuming you have Alpha, Lore, and Destiny slotted to at least Tier 3, and pop an Ultimate Inspiriation.
To actually add traditional levels beyond level 50, you'd need to add new powers to each powerset. The Incarnate System is more modular, giving players a list of customizable powers to draw from, while allowing power increases beyond what a non-incarnate player can reach.
As it stands, the highest physical level in the game is 54, which is also the most powerful enemy a non-incarnate can defeat.
The most powerful enemies in the game at this time are in the Dilemma Diabolique trial, with level shifted Level 54 enemies that can reach an effective level of level 57.
Tyrant will likely be at least level 58 when we fight him, and later incarnate trials might very well hit levels of 60+
The cap is already going up, just not in a traditional way.

All maps would be upside down, you'd have to walk on the ceilings, the sky would basically be pitfalls and all NPCs would begin to get gargantuan and come in ludicrous numbers.
...that sounds dangerous...better take Flight
Increasing the level cap in a conventional fashion is unlikely to happen. Though, personally, I would have preferred they went that way to pseudo-increasing the cap in an annoyingly limited fashion and sticking it behind bothersome crafting hoops.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be
-- The Fox and the Hound
There's already enough hoops in the game to reach the 'end', no sense sticking 20 more hoops onto it
I was doing some playthroughs of City of Heroes. Now they will serve as memories of a better time ...
Instead, I'll just go with no, nein, non, não, nyet, bu shi... Level cap is fine where it is, no need to raise it.
