Stealth Proc question

If I have a Stealth Proc in a quick recharging click power (for example, Celerity in Speed Boost), and I use the power multiple times, will the proc stack?

Didn't think so, but I was hoping. Thanks.

Best place for the proc is Sprint.

This is on topic, possibly - but I notice in my combat attributes, that my stealth level varies while I run about from 30 feet to 90 feet.
I check for the details, and it shows 3 celerity stealths of 30 feet each.

This toon doesn't have SS - yet. I plan to respec that in soon. Just wondering about this variation.

I've seen a lot of odd happenings lately namely mobs see threw my SS plus stealth IO that shouldn't be. Maybe this is why. I get why you might see 2 cause of zoning and how some procs will stack with themselves but the celebrity is suppose to be what 50 or 55 feet of stealth or whatever not 30.

I'll have to keep a closer eye on the combat attributes in the future.

Celerity (lol celebrity) and the rest of the stealth "procs" are 30' stealth radius.

I've seen the same thing with one of my toons.

Celebrity is actually a debuff to stealth, making it difficult to avoid the notice of mobs when you go out for groceries or drop the kids off at school.

Does it work in Sprint? Thought they had changed that. When I slotted my first celebrity +stealth recently I could swear sprint was not eliglble for it but I was able to put it in the vet sprint powers.

The Celerity Stealth AND the Unbounded Leap Stealth both work in Sprint and all of the prestige sprint powers. Celerity Stealth also works in Super Speed. I wouldn't recommend putting it in an auto power (Quickness) or a Click power (Speed Boost).

Sometimes I will use one of the Prestige Sprint powers to make it easy to tell when I have it turned on.

That has to do with zoning. When you zone, the effect reapplies for some reason, and it stacks with itself. That's why I was unsure if you could deliberately stack it in the OP.

When you zone, the stealth will stack for 120 seconds. So when you zone twice fairly quickly, like popping into ouro and then back to another zone, you'll see it stack twice for a total of 90'. Take a look and you'll see it happen with similar IOs like Numinas.

So you could pop in and out of a mission a few times to build up super stealth, then rush through the mission without anyone seeing you? Not quite useful, but interesting.

I was pretty sure they fixed that a long time ago.

Actually, I find it quite useful. Just entering a mission gives you 120 seconds of 60' stealth, which makes you invisible to nearly everything. It's usually plenty of time to stealth to the last room and take it out. I use it a lot to run through radio/paper missions as fast as possible in order to get safeguard/mayhem missions. Stupid Safecracker/Firebug/Bomb Squad/Interceptor badges. You have to do 10 Safeguard/Mayhems at least for those, which means 50 radio/paper missions.

Nope, it still works. Kismet, regenerative tissue, Numina, miracle, and the stealths will all stack when zoning.

It took me a bit to find a post which explained the double stacking. I knew it was out there and knew I couldn't explain it properly.

I use the stealth proc a lot. I actually accidentally bought 3 the other day when I needed 1. Will use the other two, but it was an unexpected buy lol. They work pretty straightforward. They will have that weird stacking when zoning, like all procs. But it really is a very straightforward limited stealth power generally good for carefully semi-stealthing missions or traveling through dangerous areas.

You're right, they did fix it a couple years ago. However, the fix never made it Live; it just showed up (undocumented) on the Test server, and vanished just as mysteriously. I can only assume that whatever they did to fix it broke something else, and that whatever it was was considered worse than the problem that they were trying to fix.

The only "disallowed" in Sprint is Universal Travel IOs, to prevent (at the time) Veterans from five stacking Zephyr for set bonus to defense with 0 power picks.

The autopowers in Fitness used to take Travel IOs, but there was the hostage issue.

You cannot put it into an Auto-powers, especially with the issue of that -Stealth power never working right for hostage escorts.

The only "fixes" I know of like this are for AE, and I think PvP zones.

Not sure if the Stealth IOs would fall under the AE "stripping" of buffs.
