Yeah, I was on the game when this person was in Atlas Park stating that The Cape Radio had a virus. I knew it wasn't true when I immediately went over to the website and found nothing wrong.
Glad to see the GM was notified.

I listen to The Cape everyday....so you could say I am infected with some type of virus that keeps me coming back to their website and station? Evil!
As for the person that was shouting the slander...I think they must have found their way onto my ignore list some time ago because someone told me what was going on and I had no record of it even though it was going on during our costume contest. Suffice it to say there is no problem with The Cape's website and everyone should go there and tune in!
Yeah, because of an incident from awhile back, it's likely that said person is on the ignore list of quite a few listeners.

The Cape has always been a standup organization. They DJ'd a char event and several SG events I've been involved in.
You'd think that if the Cape's site was actually infected with something, that logically, said person would bring the issue up with Cape staff personally, rather than flaming.
CoH is chock filled with griefers. We see this all the time. Sadly, this is nothing new.
This the internet. Logic often doesn't apply, and common sense is far less common than the name would suggest.

The person who pulled this crap is an incredibly petty person and has the general mindset and emotional maturity of a middle schooler. They have a vendetta against the Cape for ridiculous reasons, and have spread lies about good friends of mine on their global channel.
I'm not an avid listener of the Cape and I don't interact with them much, but they don't deserve to be subjected to this sort of childish ********.

Very sorry to hear that someone made a fool of themselves trashing the Cape Radio station. The Cape has always been an awesome supporter of both Virtue and the many great groups who play here. I hope the Dev's took appropriate action.

Last night during a Costume Contest, a player who hates The Cape was shouting some lies. We are not infected with a virus, we do not have a trojan that will cause you password problems.
As always we do our best to be a part of the Virtue community, and will continue to do so with Events, shows, and promoting SG/VGs.
I will not name the person's global handle or character name here, as the information has been sent to the GMs. I will say this. It is sad that some people have to act so childish that things like this happen. We at the Cape are grateful that the majority of Virtue, and CoH players are cool and respectful enough to each other.
