yearly veteran badge?

Wanted to know, do we still qualify for yearly veteran badges since the changes. I recently passed my 5 year aniversary. No badge was awarded. I sent in a petition about a week ago.

So far I've had 3 accounts people telling me they are transferring the ticket to someone else and to expect an answer shortly.

Anyone had any experience with this?

I haven't heard of anyone getting their yearly badges since the changeover. So much is broken right now with the subscription rewards.

Not certain, but I think the new system doesn't count "free time" - reactivation bonuses, box months, etc. So even though I'm about at 7.5 years, the NCsoft page now just lists 7

Same here, I preferred it when we were given time played in months, knew exactly where you were then. Can never understand why folks try to 'fix' stuff that ain't broke.

My NCSoft page has listed my supposed paid account time as way lower than my real paid time for as long as I can remember, certainly way back before the change to Freedom.

I had the same problem in Oct when I hit 5 yrs. and the answer I finally got was that it was a known issue that they were working on. I haven't bothered to check in a while to see if it's been awarded recently though. When/If I don't get my reward token on time again in Dec I'll have to ask again.

It used to list "Paid Time" - this was time billed from a subscription or time card - and veteran time - this was everything including refer-a-friend bonuses and box code free months - and for me was accurate. Now it just shows Paid time.

I've been on monthly renewal for 4 and a half years. 4 yr vet was awarded at the big change. You guys get this straightened out so I get my #5 in a few months, ya hear?

It's funny, CS told me i received my token for the 2 year badge, but, since that badge system is bugged, they can not award it.

Also, yes, 'free' time isn't included in their showing, but is calculated, however, i have been on 1 year, 8 months paid time since the day i21 went live.

Hi,

should have received my "annual" on the 1st October so am now 2 months overdue. Not a whisper from support for over a month! They don't care. Well that is how it feels to me.

VIP status, they are having a laugh!

Jack, regarding not hearing from support:

If you don't bug them about it at least every couple days, they figure the problem must have solved itself and you don't need their help anymore. I don't know how much you bug em about it, but if you've been passively waiting for a month and not updated them that it is still broken, this is why you've heard nothing.

Well today I received a reply regarding yearly badges not being awarded.

There is an issue with all "yearly" Veteran Badges. Right now, no players are getting new badges of this type. The Development Team will need to fix the problem, and I don't have the means to give them to you without them being taken away. Please keep watch on the official forums and website for updates.

That is weird. I got my 3 year badge awarded to me a couple of days ago.

Has this been fixed yet? Still not being listed properly for the amount of time my account has been actively paid for.

Same issue here - paid subscriber since October 2005 with no breaks. I should have gotten 6 year badge back in October. When I didn't get it initially, I thought it may be delayed due to the changes recently. I submitted a ticket back on December 5th to ask what the problem was. I have since been sent 3 (clearly cut and paste response) emails stating that the ticket was being "transferred" to someone else.....no resolution as of December 14th. I got a NCsoft Support Survey asking about their outstanding service on December 11th and I left appropriate feedback at the poor service - I guess closing tickets is more important than fixing problems. Of course in the meantime I have gotten 5 spam emails from NC Soft trying to sell me additional items. Basically disgusted at this stage.

We are all having the same problem. I've been waiting on my 7 year badge for a few months. When I sent the bug report (and followup) I recieved this reply:

"Thank you for your Bug Report. The Quality Assurance Team will be evaluating this report to determine a resolution for the issue. If this issue is confirmed as one that requires change, it will be placed on a list and prioritized along with any other issues that exist in the game.

Some high-priority issues are scheduled to be fixed within days or even hours of when the issue is first discovered. However, most issues take several weeks or months before a fix is designed, constructed, tested, and eventually passed into the live game environment. We hope you'll understand if you don't see a fix to your issue right away."

I'm sure that they are working on it and that the issue will ultimately be worked out. It has been my experience that it takes them a little longer to work out badge issues than it does to fix other stuff. I don't want to speculate as to why. However, if I've learned one thing in the last 7 years, it is patients.

I think you're right. I just counted up the retail boxes I purchased over the years for the perks and they add up exactly to how many months my time is off.
