Yeah. The guy's a joke. Y'all can love him to death, but the game has essentially died now. Private servers are a no-go for a billion different reasons, and the dev team is now free to move on without a hint of "what if".
In short, we've lost. That's the reality of the situation. Accept it or not, but that's the fact.
I was for the effort to save COH , but now we are talking about things that are gray area at best and illegal at worst and that is when I get off the bus.
COH is done. We need to accept it and move on.
I know , I know, If I feel that way then go.

Hence you can't expect anything but negative reaction when it appears top of the threads list again.
It's been repeatedly stated on numerous occasions by various people including myself that they don't want to see GW2 threads on here, the response was "if you don't want to see it go elsewhere", which apparently what people did, why the need for the bump.
Not attacking..I do understand the emotion, but we have to remeber they have the right to post as we do and if they want to post about other games they have the right too.
The Mods have said it is ok..so who are we to try to tell them they can not? -
I as well like gw2..it isn't coh but it is good. I understand people are upset about coh , but please keep in mind even some of the "red names" here are playing gw2 as well. Have they sold out? Have they turned their back on coh? No. They are just enjoying another game. I am doing all I can to save coh , but I am enjoying another game too. Before someone askes for proof of the red names..I wont name them , but you can check for your self..facebook , twitter etc... We can agree to disagree , but let us not turn on each other

If it came down to a choice of one or the other then I say save the Studio. I love the game but as you say games can be rebuilt and we have the best studio out there. Not to say anything about feeding their familes etc....

It is good news to know for sure that the developers are in the fight. I am thankful for Tony and his efforts , but it is good to know our leaders " If you will " are in the fight....

After seven years off and on mostly on, I have reached the point to hang up my cape for good. Most of you don't know me ,but I have enjoyed your posts over the years.As much as I have loved this game in the past I find it not to be the game I use to enjoy and that is ok. I know alot of you love the direction the game is going and that is great. This old hero is not one of them. We get raids and t.f. for end game content. It might be ok if the t.f. moved the story along but they don't. You finish them and it is like they never happen. All the time and money they spent on G.R. to create the 3rd lvl 1-20 path they should have made end game content that moved the story along and then introduced the trials. Any way just my two cents. I hope this game lasts for years as it has been a great part of my life and i will miss it. The players are some of the best people there is. Only parting thing i would sujest to the Dev. is if Cole is going to be the most evil bad guy then make him truly that..let him capture one of the Heroes we all know and have him kill him/her for spying...it will make Cole seem truly the danger you make him out to be...I know people will not like it but heroes do die and war is war..any way thanks dev/players for the fun ride!! and no you can't have my stuff Fare thee well.

I know first hand how bad this can be even before the update. I came back after 3 years with a new computer and I could not remeber my username and password. I went back and forth with support told them everthing I could remember even the serial code for cov didn't have the one for coh but because I didn't have the coh code.. long lost or c.c. number from card i used when i joined they said they couldn't help me. I spent a few hours at the log in screen trying to remember....finally the stars lined up and i was able to remember the name and password..so I truly am sorry for the ones going thru this. I know how it can be.

I'm thankful that for the seven years I had to deal with my dad on drugs, Coh was here for me. It gave me a escape when I needed it.
I'm thankful for all the great players and friends that help me threw that trying time.
Truly if this game had not been there for me, I don't think I would have made it. -
I am a returning player after taking 3 years off do to life issues. I would had no problem if the names had been wiped. I wasn't paying for the game so why should I believe or expect the names to still be there. I was glad the toons were there but I would have understood if they had wiped the old account out. Two years is more then fair for names and even toons to be held.

Not really a question so please forgive me. I wasn't sure where to post this. I just wanted to take a minute and thank all the great players who play this game. Most of the time you are taken for granted. Then I get on a team like I had last night where one player decides he wants to instruct another player how to play his character. It just made me think how many times I have been lucky to be on teams with great players and never said thank you. So thank you for all the great times and fun. You truly are what makes this game fun. Also thank you to the forum members who take the time and effort to answer the questions posted here and make all the player helps. I for one have learned a great deal from you. I thank you for your time and for sharing your insight that has taking years for you to learn and by sharing has saved me years of trial and error.

Back when there was 160k subscribers 15% meant a paultry 24k PvP'd in some way shape or form. Now that the ballpark figure for subscribers is in the 60k range I'm not far off in saying that 24k would be around 40% of the current playerbase.

The fact of the matter is we all pay the same amount to play this game. It would not be fair to release a update when a part of the base could not play what they pay their hard earned money to play. It isn't like the devs are locked up in a room in the back laughing at how they could not release I 19. Btw..they never gave the 16th as a locked down date for release. Some people might be ok with it released with the bugs, but as a player who loves Doms..yes i would be mad as hell if it released and I couldn't play my Doms but they still took my money. So for those who are all upset about this then so sorry..why don't you jump on to test and help us play and give more info to the devs so they can fix the bugs faster?

Forgot to say, of the choices you gave that's what I'd pick, but if I was going for a pure soloist Domi myself I'd probably end up picking Mind/(Energy or Fire).
Earth is awesome on teams with all the AOE controls you get but isn't the strongest in terms of single target mezzes. Mind is the strongest domi set in terms of single target mez IMO.
To each their own tho...I'm just glad there is love for the Doms out there. -
I have a earth/earth dom lvl 46 and it is the best and i solo all the time +1 lvl +2 heroes.
After you get your pet it all easy. Great control and good damage. You do have to get in close to damage but you have the control power to lock them down.
