This is one of the major reasons why I kicked off the whole "I'm Done!" format that everyone else has been using since. It gives everyone a numbers sense of what has been done, without giving away visually what has been accomplished in everyone's respective entries. It also keeps this thread "alive" with posts as people finish, while also reminding everyone that this is a contest that people are participating in.

I replied to you, just make sure you reply back to me
Also for everyone, you need to click twice on the links (one and then the other). For IE and Firefox it might tell you that your browser is not fully supporting Google Docs but it will work anyways (It's Google's way of trying to get you to use Chrome). If using Safari or other MAC based browser, I am not sure, I do not have it to test. But if you have any issue, just send your Base #, your Global name, preferred time(s), and a Design Name (if you have one) via email.
Edit: Medieval Power tried Safari, it works as well

I am using Firefox and when I clicked on the cell for my desired time a word bubble "dropped down" and had a link in it. I clicked that and it took me to a format that worked for Firefox.

Thought I was done, but I had to go back and edit some more... made a few major changes, I hope for the better. That being said, thought I should update my item count details.
I won't be around for the judges (I might actually need to be away from the game for a week or two), so the base is going to have to speak for itself. I hope it says all the right things...
This was a tough contest, totally against my style... most of my designs are VERY presty, and I found this contest was like working with handcuffs on. So totally against how I am used to editing. I hated it so much at first.
It took me 6 major attempts to "retrain" myself to think about the "cost" of each item I placed. I totally envy those that made their bases fast and easily. I think that the limited funds aspect of this contest is what makes it so interesting and fair. I don't think anyone in this contest has any sort of advantage here, in spite of what some might seem to think. In fact, a practiced Baser might be at a disadvantage here, as they have to work within limits and in a way they aren't used to. I really think everyone has an equal shot at this, and I don't envy the job ahead for the judges.
I think I am finally happy with my base (for now, still have a day or two to stress about changes again), and I must now admit that the whole process of making a base with the cuffs on was sort of fun. Wasn't at the time, might not want to do it again, but I can look back and laugh at going through it now. Stressing over if I "really" needed those 1000 prest items or not. After a few bad starts, I was tempted to try to make a base using only the 10 prest items...
I wonder if I still have time to try that...
Before I forget to say it, I want to thank MP and the rest of the PERC people for making this happen for us. And I really want to thank all those players that turned out to take a stab at this, to show everyone that Basers are active and willing to participate in stuff like this. I can't wait to see everyone's work, and I hope this is just the start of many contests and/or activities for Basers.
And finally, I want to say thanks to the devs for showing us some "Base Luv" with the new editor tools, and the making of unlocked vet base items unlimited. Now, if only we can get the blank SG logo to be a perma thing (just scrap the "zero" SG logo and replace it with a "null" graphic - any SG that needs a 0 as a logo could just use the letter O, easy fix!). I know, I know, give us an inch, and we want a mile... I don't mean to sound unappreciative, I'm just throwing an idea out there...

First off, want to thank participants in the Bases on a Budget as well as MP, Arky and PERC members for the time and effort you've put into this. I truly am inspired and amazed by both sides in the ability to utilize this feature of the game and create a community from it.
Hopefully this aspect of CoH will receive further attention in the future, as I had no idea how enjoyable it is for designers to be able to express themselves through base construction and design... tho, I can relate in some way with me being an aspiring A/E mission designer. You are all very creative and your skills and creativity are eons beyond mine in this aspect.
Also wanted to let any participants and/or observers know that I will be posting my quick video tour compilation for each theme on my YouTube page. I will post a link to the videos here, but if you are annoyed by grown men who make immature videos pertaining to a superhero MMO... then I recommend not deviating from the links. I get way too much maturity time in each work day running a business to come home and keep up the routine. Thanx!

Just a quick message for all the Basers with entries in the contest, as well as for any observers that want to see some of the entries...
If you haven't joined the "BaseBuildersInc." chat channel in the game, can you please do so, as this is were many of us "hang out" nightly to arrange tours of each other's bases.
Anytime you are on, please post a shout-out in the channel if you are offering a tour, requesting one, or are wanting to join a tour group in progress.
Also, if anyone knows of any other channels popular with Basers where tours are often arranged, please let us know the names of those channels here. Many of us hope this contest can help bring the Baser community closer together to share tips, ideas, and tours.
