Dear Devs.

Thank You. Atlas Park is pretty. New costume parts, new missions. I've noticed the downtime was longer then planned, and there's still problems like the store and base logos and such.

But I don't care. You guys have been working like hell on this, and I expect the problems in launching 21 have made today rather miserable for those of you that have to patch the holes. So, rather then whine about what I don't have, I'm going to thank you for your hard work and what you've given us, and go and enjoy your creations.

Indeed, well said!

I never envy the Dev's on launch weeks. This one seems to be going particularly rough due to the extreme nature of the changes. Can't imagine the stress they've been under lately.

*Cheers!! It'll all be worth it though.

I also have to say a big huge thanks for Zwill and everyone who popped by on the UStream broadcast yesterday (and this morning) for entertaining us, keeping us informed and giving us some insight as well.

@craggy see me on Union for TFs, SFs (please!) or just some good ol fashioned teaming.

I appreciate the difficulties of a rough launch, but there is one thing that should never have made it live:

You shouldn't be presented with the option to purchase things you already own in the store.

For example, Going Rogue content and costume packs you already bought with real money. This is going to be confusing for many and result in petitions when people click the wrong button and buys the wrong thing.

If this were fixed I'd simply buy up any packs I hadn't (I think two), but since I can't trust the game not to rip me off for things I paid cash for already I won't be buying costume packs.

For all the little (and even not-so-little) things that have made this a bumpy ride, the overall experience has been worth it. Good job, to all the rednames.

In the beta forums it was said that while they'd prefer it to work that way, the stop-gap measure is that if you try to check out with already-purchased items that it won't let you.

I don't know if anyone's been brave enough to confirm that it actually works on live. (It wasn't published to beta, AFAIK.)

This should have been *mostly* filtered out through some backend work, at least for individual purchases and costume pieces. There are some bundled items that were impossible to filter out however.

The tutorial is flipping amazing.

FPARN again. <goes and gets lottery tickets>

Yeah, little things weren't filtered out like, you know, EVERY emote, EVERY costume change emote, EVERY aura, EVERY weapon, and Supertailor access and so on, that were all bundled in costume packs before.

Seriously, someone couldn't write up a script that says "If x costume pack code exists on account z, y feature is not purchaseable in the paragon market?" Isn't that what was done with the "main" costume pieces?

We've ALREADY bought it for real money, after all.

Just sloppy.

Standard Code Rant applies here, me thinks.

I had to check the costume creator just to be sure I didn't need to purchase the IDF costume bundle. I do realize that it is not a simple fix, but I hope you will continue to work on it.

Thanks for all the Awesome!

Okay. I've got more than five years around here...I'll chime in...

"Blah-blah Market! Rabble Rabble Market!"

Yeah, there are some things I'd like fixed about that too. Auras, f'rinstance. Kinda liked being able to start with a cape (after paying for it) though.

Other than that...Atlas is...going to take some getting used to. Sure does look heroic there though! And for your audiophiles...did you notice the sharp, thready wind sounds at the top of the tallest buildings? For that matter, WHERE WAS THAT HELICOPTER COMING FROM??

*ahem*

Staring a new toon on Exalted and beginning with the tutorial mission felt like a new experience with a comfortable friend, though I have to say I wasn't really a fan at first. That zone? That zone didn't really identify as "Galaxy City" for me when I went there. Maybe I'd have to try it again, but that could've been Anywhere Falls in Paragon City as far as I'm concerned.

After that, though? Wow...things took off with the Hellions at a rapid pace, and kept kicking up. I have yet to meet my next new contact there.

I love playing this game, but it's been a while since it's felt "new" to me like this. Overall, thank you Freemsquad. My time input to fun ratio is WAY on my side right now.

So GET BACK TA WORK, ya lousy bums! Seriously, you know there's more to do, right? We know you've got nothin' better to do than to listen to us kvetch all day, right? So get on the rest of those market issues! Whadda my wife and I give you money for each month? CAWFEE??

See you on the servers...
