They got Chuck?

Sly: Where'd Chuck go?
*Whip pan to a barracks where 600 guys come exploding out through the walls and roof*
Sly:
*Chuck steps through one of the holes, dusting off his hands*
Sly:
Chuck: What?

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

They could probably get Wesley Snipes in there too.

Also, have they tried to get Clint Eastwood?

Maybe the second one can be good. Don't get me wrong...it wasn't a horrible movie and I'm glad I watched it, but for all the star power and the attempt to make an 80s-style action movie, there were just no memorable lines in the whole movie.

Jet Li was awesome (he typically is) but the whole subplot (and the ending) with Dolph Lundgren's character really drove a stake into this movie for me.

Yes, it delivered on the 'splosions and violence, which I was okay with. It just needed something more to make it memorable.

Arc# 92382 -- "The S.P.I.D.E.R. and the Tyrant" -- Ninjas! Robots! Praetorians! It's totally epic! Play it now!

Arc # 316340 -- "Husk" -- Azuria loses something, a young woman harbors a dark secret, and the fate of the world is in your hands.

I suggest watching Machete. It's the movie I was expecting Expendables to be.

Just be warned: Expendables is what happened when they were waffling between PG-13 and R and decided, at the last minute, they were going for the R. Machete was designed from the ground up to be an R-rated movie and it earned that rating.

Didn't care much for 1 (as mentioned above, it didn't even have a single memorable line), won't bother with 2.

A Team was the good action flick of that summer.

Too many alts to list.

Now, add in Chow Yun-Fat and it will be perfect.

Wait, what?!? I thought they explicitly said that this Expendables would be a ONE TIME ONLY kind of project. > Why those no good, lying, two-bit...

Psshhawwww, I didn't believe them when they said that anyway.

Craft your inventions in AE!!

Play "Crafter's Cafe" - Arc #487283. A 1 mission, NON-COMBAT AE arc with workable invention tables!

That may be hard unless they plan to film from the prison he's in.

I'll add the plot point with the woman was underdeveloped and Sly felt like a weak point in the movie. It was 2.5/3 star at best. It has so much potential I can see them going back to it hoping it all clicks even just one time. For a gritty violent move, The Horseman I thought was better although I like Taken better for a movie with a similar plot, but with less gritty violence. For a similar plot line to Expendables with lots of fighting and violence, 13 Assassins was a much better film.

Isn't Snipes currently residing in "Club Fed" for his tax evasion conviction?

To me it was memorable getting all those action stars together. Talk about juggling some swelled heads in the cases of some. Also Dolph's character should have been killed off and I think Jet Li would easily trounce him in a real fight.

Is he? Last I knew all those legal matters were still in court. Thought I saw something about the judge letting him make more movies to pay back the taxes he owes, but I might be mistaken.

Dunno 'bout that, they'd probably be fairly evenly matched on skill level.

What if the plot of the second involved the teaming up of various action movie villains? Who would you guys want?

Arnold Vosloo. Pik van Cleef (Hard Target) is one of my all-time favourite movie villains.

o.O I'd put money on Dolph in a real fight. You realize Dolph not only out muscles Jet Li, but is also a black belt himself, right?

I think Jet Li still probably knows a hell of a lot more about martial arts and his skill goes beyond the standard black belt's, but Dolph probably does have the edge in strength and he's got a huge length advantage that Jet Li would have to overcome just to get close enough to use what he knows.
