Doctor Who 27/8 (or 8/27)
The tux, I think will be explained in future episodes. Hypothesis: he went back to the wedding to check Mel's story (eating fish fingers and custard whilst there to resist the poison.)

"I need some sort of support. A cane. No, a walking stick. Cant' have one of those without a tux. Do I have a tux? Yes! Time to wear a tux to help hide the cane."
I personally like the idea that the Silence (the aliens, not specifically the Order, assuming the Order contains more than the aliens) were using their subliminal suggestion abilities on more than just Earth. There's been a lot of the Doctor's enemies forming together lately, and I think it's a really neat idea to say that the Silence has been working, subliminally, though all the Doctor's enemies to weaken and/or defeat him for some purpose. Obviously, they avoided direct confrontation with him for as long as possible, which is why he never learned of their existence (via using the marks to remember them). I can see a montage of every villain The Doctor's ever faced with a Silence hovering behind them. Perhaps they've even been behind all the Daleks that keep slipping through the cracks somehow. *shrug*

I really should do something about this signature.
This episode probably had the best dialog after "The Doctor's Wife".
Did I miss any jokes in reference to the Eddie Murphy "Meet Dave" movie, since I never saw that.

In another almost throwaway line, River says she was a young girl before regenerating into Mels, confirming that was River in the spacesuit.
Dunno anything about "Dave," but there were some very quick lines of dialogue that can be missed. Like River deciding she would age backward just to mess with people, which conveniently explains away the actress being younger when we first met her in Tennant's Library episode, even though she's supposed to be "older" when she first meets the younger Doctor.

Speaking of... Merlin is said to "age backwards" could it be that Merlin is a Time Lord in Doctor Who continuity?
Well finally saw this episode last night....good episode
I'm still fuzzy about all the time line stuff but..meh...I don't need to understand something to enjoy it

Silence will Fall
Silence =
Quiet and by linking "nothingness"
The Organization that is hunting the doctor
The Alien Race that has been controlling human affairs
Falls =
Water Falls
Failure
Destruction
physically falling
Overwhelm (darkness falls means that the day if overcome by the night)
Thinking it through the "silence" organization didn't come about till after the Silence race was tricked into ordering their own kill on sight. They also start appearing in time during that event... and the silence (the race) told amy to tell the doctor that which she must not (that she was pregnant). Considering that The silence (the race) hadn't made themselves known previously AND they must have been there and they must have considered the doctor to some degree good considering he benefited the humans thus benefited them. Up until that point they as a whole or perhaps a faction must have the doctor as a good guy up until the point he got humans to kill them, but after he did that and humans start taking to the star they might have been able to form a cult/organization that goes against the doctor...
Could it be that the silence falling is the silence (the race) over coming the docter figuring out it was one huge mistake, the silence (the organization) being destroyed, and then the silence setting up the events of April 2011 to rectify the situation.
Also the Doctor in ep1 says he's been running for a long time and harder than he's ever been running before...which indicates that there is some force that is out to get him that he had to run away from...which would the silence be a pretty powerful force considering they know a lot of the doctor's enemies?
