Stalkers vs Inanimate Objects
"Inanimate" objects are pretty much just regular NPCs with no powers except for a self-only immobilize + KB protection (it's why many of them will turn and face you upon being aggroed!)

I always wondered about that. I thought they were haunted! o_o;

We're still working out the timeline for their future assault, apparently it is VERY far in the future.

Thank you everyone at Paragon and on Virtue. When the lights go out in November, you'll find me on Razor Bunny.
I thought the question was going to be "who would win?" I was going to bet on the inanimate object.
Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)
The next logical question is "HOW do Stalkers sneak attack and placate inanimate objects?"
... they're just that good.

So you think you're a hero, huh.
@Boltcutter in game.
How good do they need to be?

Hey... I resemble that remark!
(it's not like any of us who play them can really deny there is some truth to this)

Hey, on a bank mish the other day, my stalker got jailed and hit the cell door so hard he frightened it.
Now that's hardcore
This is not nearly as funny as taking a Mind controller/dom out on a Mayhem mission and using Terrify on a bunch of cardboard boxes in an alley.

i make stuff...
i'm pretty sure i've confused cardboard boxes in mayhem missions. Of course seeing a cardboard box confused was pretty much a mutual experience. Confused cardboard boxes really can't do anything except glare at each other, what with being immobile and not having any attacks.

As mentioned above they can spin in place. and with those reinforced corners can bruise your shins.
never underestimate the power of the corrugated cardboard box.

They can flap their flaps at you menacingly. And if you get too close this could result in a nasty papercut.

This reminds me of the best thing that happened during City of Villains pre-release testing. Who else remembers The Desk of Doom?
OK, I'm pretty sure if a stalker attacks from hidden against an attack-able/destroyable object that he can get the damage bonus. Am I right?
If I am, then, my main question is.. Could he use Placate on the object to do so again?
