The timer is in real world time - if you took about 21 days, it's probably 497 hours, and it truncates beyond 99 hours.
Congratulations! That is awesome work.
Words to the wise aren't necessary- it's the stupid ones that need them.

21 days though? You'll have to excuse me, never got into the solo ITF runs and competitions (due to lack of pocket money to afford all the good stuff) so that's got me a little confused. >_<
Nice Job!
I'm curious, looking at the build in your sig... what's your general strategy for fighting?... immobalize things then attack from range? or do you go into melee? You don't have a lot of attacks, do your pets do most of your damage? (I've never really looked at veats, so maybe these questions have obvious answers).
I gotta make pain. I gotta make things right. I gotta stop what's comin'. 'Least I gotta try.
He has arm lash and frenzy so my guess is that he summons pets whenever possible and then runs into melee to tank for 'em. Looks like a fun strategy and it looks like it worked pretty well!
My mistake, make that suppression instead of arm lash. Still looks like a pretty tanky tray to me!
Nice! And yeah as stated, if this was done over 21 days, the game counts your log out time, not justyour time spent in missions.

Grats Linea!
21 days: I only play 2 days a week, for 2 to 4 hours per day. I didn't ONLY play this character, and I typically did only 1 mission per day/week. Also, I had to do a respec to refine the build and start over. Were I to do it again, in one gaming session, it would be roughly 7 hours straight. I never have a block of 7 hours free. If it takes me 21 days to get free time in blocks of meaningful size, 2 to 4 hour blocks, then it takes 21 days for me to get free-time in blocks of meaningful size.
Attacks: I fight both in-close and at range. I prefer in-close, but that can become problematic with cimmies. I ate tons of purple candy, mega-tons.
The standard ST chains are:
(Single, Burst, Single), Venom, (Single, Burst, Single), Heavy :: requires the purples and/or recharge buffs/empowerments.
Single, Burst, Venom, Single, Burst, Heavy ... whatever fits.
AV Immoblize, lower dps but you have to keep them from running, chain is:
Single, Burst, Fence, Single, Burst, Venom, Single, Burst, Fence, Single, Burst, Heavy
AoE Chains are a bit more hectic. I use the immoblize as both damage and as a way to keep things close for Frenzy. Then I throw whatever I have whenever I have it. Filling in with (Single, Burst, Single) when needed.
The pets do add damage, but at +4, don't always live overly long. They're a noticeable buff to damage while alive. They're a big buff for AVs, after you clear the area of things that might aggro on them. The Reinforcements have an immobilize as well as damage.
I'll measure damage levels later this week or next. My spreadsheet has my personal damage at 110 * 1.36 -resistance := ~150 after debuffs. Then add reactive, pets, and lore. But, I plan on testing all that in-game later.
Congrats! That is an awesome accomplishment.
Global: @Kelig
Congrats. You've done sometimes most people have never done it a team (a +4 ITF is tons of fun, but very few run them now).
Personally, I'm going to attempt this on my scrapper as soon as the last pieces of my build come in. With the amount of in-game inflation its amazing the total cost. 5 purple sets can come to 15 billion (actually about 10 billion for me), plus multiple Hami-Os (some +3), plus Panacea, plus glad armor, plus the rest = something close to 25-30 billion.

Grats!
Great Job Linea.
I'm curious as to your choice of Arachnos Soldier Gun attacks over the Crab Spider Ranged attacks. Do they make for a better DPS chain?
I was curious about that too Deus and it seems that the main difference is that suppression has a longer recharge, uses a load more endurance and has a longer animation than heavy burst. Single shot, burst, and venom grenade are identical to their arm-based counterparts apart from damage type on single shot vs channelgun. So, using the soldier attacks misses out on some energy damage and a slightly bigger cone, but what you get instead is endurance sustainability, far less global rech required, and marginally better DPA. Good trade, eh.
Better Single Target, but you also suffer redraw when you use the Patron and Crab AoE. There would be no redraw penalty for the Crab Versions.
However, the AoE multiplier helps make up for the redraw since I don't use those attacks in the ST chain, and when I'm not AoEing, I have better single target dps.
So it reallly depends on your focus. If you want to focus on AoE, go Crab Attacks, and you'll suffer on ST. If you want to focus on ST attacks, go Gun/Huntsman, and you'll suffer on AoE.
what build did you use to accomplish this? looks interesting to me as i do not have a crab and may start one if they can accomplish this kind of thing with a good build.

This is my Crab Tank build that I based on Linea's a way back. The difference is I took some more Huntsman AOEs and avoided the melee AOEs like Frenzy.
I'm debating whether to pull the ragnarok out of Venom and 1 recharge IO out of Hasten (and +5 the other 2), in order to have 2 more slots to put into single-shot/burst probably with Lady Grey dmg procs.
Also if I were rich I'd slot the PvP +3 def in place of having to 6-slot the Gaussian set for its bonus. Open to other ideas.

Im kinda curious how did you not get booted from the TF when the last player left?
I was in a iTF this past Tuesday as part of the WTF, when we were on the last mission and completed the TF everyone else wanted to leave. So I asked the leader if I could stay to mop up the extras that were left over with my scrapper.
Once the last person left the TF, I got booted out of it. So my question is, I know you had to have at least 6 people to start the TF, but how did you not get booted out of it?

Did the leader turn the mission in? Did folks quit the team, or log off?

BTW, this is my 666th post.........I'm scared! LOL

I keep wanting to grab four random cooperative players and use my second account as the "logged off, not quit TF" player but haven't had a chance to do so yet -- hopefully I'm understanding this game mechanic correctly before I waste anybody's time.
"But it wasn't anything some purples and oranges and lots of screaming in fear couldn't handle." -- Werner
30 level 50's: 12 scrappers, 7 other random melee types, 11 blaster/blapper/support squishies, two accounts, and a TON of altitis since 4/28/04
From everything I've read on the subject, at least one person has to simply "log off" rather than hitting the "quit taskforce" button. That way they're still on the team, even though they're not physically "there."

My first attempt at it, everyone quit but the one staying, who just stayed in the background door sitting (collecting rare drops and influence), who then accidently quit when they had to leave (which was on the final mission against Romi )
Second time went much smoother.
Should give it a shot. If you're a player who likes to solo, I don't see why you wouldnt want to try it.

Didn't somebody on a ss/fire brute do one of these in less than two hours as a master one back a while ago?
Or maybe that was a tanker, I can't remember now.

Mission 1: 1.5 hours
Mission 2: 0.5 hours
Mission 3: 2.5 hours
Mission 4: 2.5 hours
Net Time: 7.0 hours.
Time including failures: 20 hours.
Real Time: 21 days.
PS:
I don't know what's up with the timer, I definitely didn't spend 97 hours.
The death count is off too, but I think that was the people that stuck around to watch and weren't using stealth.
That may be a crab, but I think a +4x8 run is a fair submission for "stupid scrapper tricks" regardless of AT.
