This has gotten out of hand. I've deleted my inflammatory posts. There's no need for this.
Apologies for derailing your thread, Crusherina.

I was going to suggest you PM Beastyle and ask him to clean up the thread but this is champion so i don't know what I was thinking......drama is the norm.

Yeah pretty much Philly, I admire his retraction/apology and deleting the posts. As far as it getting out of hand, there was no need to post and be inflammatory in the first place.
So, the apology wouldn't have been needed if a certain party would have not felt the need to be negative to begin with. Thank you again Sep for your time putting this together and thank you Avatea for the sticky!

Sorry, guys. Like I said, every time I post a reply on here, I get my head bit off. I think my sense of humor gets lost in the translation or something.
I am a 52-year-old retired computer programmer with a lot of spare time who likes to play games, and specifically, this game. I never meant to stir up any conflict. I apologize for posting. I may be a five-year veteran on Champion, but I am still a forum board noob. I started this brouhah by asking a question that I thought was innocent enough, and I never meant any harm by it.
Let me reiterate this, though: Excellent guide, never meant to disrespect the work that was put into it.
One other thing, this is for Cobalt. Sorry, dude, but what happened was this (wish I had actual transcripts, but I dont): I asked Cherry Cupcakes to change the MotD, to add an event. She said she couldn't, unless it was scheduled in the Calendar of Events. In other words, putting it on the CoE was a NECESSARY condition to putting it on the MotD. When I asked how to get something put into the Calendar of Events, THEN she SUGGESTED I put something on the boards. THAT was the suggestion. The suggestion was NOT that I COULD put it on the boards, but that putting something on the boards would be how to get something into the Calendar of Events, and then eventually on the MotD. Sure, having something on the boards, on the CoE, on the FB page, all make sense NOW, but at the time, I just wanted one thing: the MotD. You can say that that was for my benefit if you want, but to tell you the truth, I would have never even started this thing if she had just added a message to the MotD, because I would have never gone to the boards. I'm not blaming Cherry Cupcakes, either. She was just doing her "job". Im just trying to get my facts straight.
Please don't bite my head off over this, Cobalt. I mean no harm. I'm just trying to understand what it is that I am supposed to be doing. And I am sure that my reply is probably in the wrong place, not relevant, and has a few spelling mistakes. That's why I try to stay OFF the boards: I figure my $0.02 is somehow interfering with REAL work. The devs have enough to read without having to moderate my posts. So, maybe I am not google-literate, as Sep suggested. I am willing to admit, I'm not forum board-literate, obviously. If my asking one question caused all this, I will not be visiting the boards again any time soon. But let me say this: very few times have I ever been DISCOURAGED to ask questions, like I feel I have been this time. I won't be asking any more questions on here any time soon.
And I'm sorry if I went over any word limit in this or my previous post, I'm trying to avoid being misunderstood.
And I'm sorry for not adding any graphics.
There, have I apologized to everybody?

Nothing you have actually said here is really something they tend to Mod, to tell you the truth. If you would like tips on how to get Modded in the forums, I should be able to give you a couple, since they do Mod me from time to time.
My sarcastic sense of humor doesn't translate well with the written word either, so I just accept that as a consequence. Maybe that could work for your peace of mind as well, Grandpa (It's not often that I get to call a fellow player that ).

It was myself, not Cherry, and unfortunately there was a lot of confusion involving what I did say. I initially told you I had no problem adding it to the MotD as long as there was room, you just had to give me the information. Then I went on to ask if you had tried posting it on the forums, and noted that I usually use the events calendar and the forums to change the MotD. Sorry for the confusion.

I am updating the Guide a bit with the additions of the 'new' training arcs and that of First Ward.
-Will be Added after Testing-
'Looking Through the Glass'
Need to do the Field Agent Keith Nance completion first (Twisted Reflections).
-Singular Vision Badge
'The Shining Stars - A New Day Dawning'
(This is an ongoing 'Trainee' arc that happens at different levels, hence the testing)
-Shining Star Badge
-Brightest Sun
-Supernova
'Reason to Fight'
-Savior of Atlas Park
*This post will be updated to reflect needed testing/changes

'You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.'
The new 'Trainee" Arcs have been posted.
They are at the bottom as to be grouped up.
Badges are not given to the whole party, Leader Only.
Some Arcs need to be done before you may do the 'Badge' arc, although it may be listed regardless of if it is actually unlocked or not.

'You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.'
I have not added the Villain Trainee Arcs, assume they are just like on Hero Side, need to do them in order.

'You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life.'
New Site: ouroguide.tripod.com
There is apparently a bug within An Instant Army, Anti-Matter does not seem to count.
Unai arc needs looking into for Multidimensional badge gain.
Some people are having issues selecting accolade arcs.
Added a new page with merit rewards for each arc above 1 merit (badge arcs usually give one or two but will not be listed).
Updates soon.
Any questions or comments, let me know.

Not everyone reads the BMT MotD. Not everyone reads the Champion Forums. Not everyone checks the Events Calendar. Not everyone has a Facebook account. However, there's a good chance a fair percentage o' the population would be informed if an Event were posted to all aforementioned places. Again, for your benefit.
It'd be like posting your resume online and waiting for someone to call you instead of pounding the pavement and putting yourself out there. Why cripple yourself by limiting your options?!
