Nothing like that, I'll just do it so that we get it working here and Ping will make whatever adjustments are necessary.

I have adjusted the channel clear timescale to be a much higher ratio than 30 days at this time.

Besides, I'd much rather the Imperial March, but The Battle from the Gladiator soundtrack will work instead.

Yeah, I have no problem with a timer, but I'm thinking 180 days is much nicer than 30. We'll just try to get folks reinvited as we find out about it.

180 days it is. I'll write up the adjustments and post them in a few.

When we used the working command a few months ago on Pinnacle, we set a low number to get the purge, then immediately increased it again. We were interested in making room, got what we wanted, and went back to giving people the flexibility to take breaks from the game and still have a connection when they got back.

PS- lol @ the argument about the command not working.

As Stray posted in the other thread, three digits in terms o' days set doesn't work.

Lol indeed.

Not working sometimes is not the same as not working at all, which is what you oh so condescendingly were telling people. So yeah, it was lol to see you be so very convinced you were right when you weren't.

Except for that part where I was right.

Not working in part is not working as intended, so close enough. I don't consider it worth nitpicking about, and I enjoy that kind of thing. <.<

In what universe does saying "It doesn't work" when it does mean you were right?

Does it work for >99 days? No. But it does work. Ergo, your statement that it doesn't function is incorrect.

Why is it so hard to admit that? You can do it, I won't judge.

It does work as intended. It just doesn't work in all cases. That's not the same thing as claiming it doesn't work at all, and that anyone that says otherwise is wrong.

I'm not picking nits, I'm picking what is clearly a swollen ego balloon that needs to climb down off the high horse for a while.

I wish everyone would just back the fark off. Cobalt did the best he could according to the BMT rules, he even kicked me a few times.. he didn't play favorites. He's always contributed, helped unknowns become known, and to this day, despite quitting BMT let's me know of every event via FB that goes on within Champ. He's transcended! I have the luxury of choice witthout having to log in. Cobs didn't HAVE to mod, or become a broadcaster of current events elsewhere. He did and does it anyway. What have any of us done unwaveringly.. in sobriety? Kudos Blue.

So... you're saying that they intended it to not work in all cases? Interesting.

I would have to argue that if it were working as intended it would give you a message along the lines of "Value out of range, please select a value below 100" when inputting a higher value instead of just saying "Channel timeout set to xxx days." and in reality setting no time out. As it stands, either its not working as intended because a) they intended to allow days > 99 and it doesn't or b) they did not intend to allow days > 99, but it does not display the correct error message when the value is outside of [1,99]. We have no way of knowing which was intended, but one of them is presumed to be the correct one.*

*Unless the devs hate us, but I'm assuming that not to be the case.

This is the most truthful and correct statement you've contributed to this thread thus far.

Thank you for the clarification.

Be careful, there is a new mini-game on the forums, someone and their pet stiefelleckers (boot-licker's) like reporting posts or threads of anyone they do not like, feel threatened by, or hold a general animosity toward. Even though the game is rated T (13+ (16+ in the Eu) for Suggestive Themes and Violence) any mention of verboten subject matter, or if enough of the sycophantic trolls feign outrage in their reporting of your threads or posts, will get them pulled.
