Well, the Pocket D is accessible, especially for low level players. It's usually the very first recommended spot for finding some RP. For newer people that don't have a VG / SG, a big friend network, knows all the correct channels, and (due to level 15 reasons) can't really survive grandville unless they sit in a canoe off the coast... what other options are thereto go out and "find RP"?

For those that don't have the network all in place yet, finding RPers, either just RPing or mission-RPing is fricking HARD.

What about the Midnight Club? It has limitations - it's magic-oriented and you have to hit a certain level and run an arc to get in - but it has great atmosphere, it's legitimately co-op, and even on ITF week, it's not really that crowded. The tea-and-books feel couldn't be more different from the vodka-and-techno feel of the D. Somebody could use it to hold a symposium on arcane threats, for instance.

... Okay, honestly, that sounds like something Jack would definitely be part of. Jack being my main.

I propose that this happens, yes.

I use the Midnighters Club on Thursday nights (8pm central) for the mystical part of our SG (Paragon Universe SG). We meet to discuss whats been going on with each other and then some mystical threat seems to pop up that we have to go stop (our AE/RP arc of the week). I moved it there a couple years ago in order to be more accessible to anyone that might wander by and take interest.

Anyone is welcome to drop by. My guy's name is Freedom's Arch Mage (a traveller from a parallel Earth that has made this one his new home)

Yes, in fact I've been beninning to use that with my dragon-themed character a little more.

I used to not worry about the Midnighters at the beginning, but now I realize it's access to ITF among other things, I try to get access as soon as possible.

Lord Recluse is watching your ERP... And he likes It.

Slight teasing aside, I have to admit that every time I decide to just wander around grandville I find somewhere new and cool. I've been planning on getting a Stalker up to the higher levels so I can explore the zone more. I can totally see that zone being used for awesome RP of all sorts.

I always knew Recluse was a technophiliac. That explains why he keeps that bastard Black Scorpion as a patron... What an interesting yaoi.

And I know exactly how you feel. I decided to wander the tunnels near the helicopter transport... I was literally lost for an hour. I couldn't find the exit, and Arachnobots kept attacking me. Fun times, fun times.

Come meet Nalrok, Mandu. He's a demon. A big, royal demon prince. With horns. And he's Dark/Dark/Soul. And he eats souls. And he's really strong.

But he also loves conversation, enjoys meeting people and forging new friendships, has a soft spot for opera, prefers verbal subterfuge to just smashing things into dust, and would sooner spend an evening walking the streets of St. Martial for fun than shredding CoT for no reason.

That's not to say he won't end you if you piss him off, but still, he's not your stereotypical demon ****** like the rest of the evil populace.
Hey...don't be be making fun of the ellipses! I've been over using them in my writing since...what is it now...well a long damn time!

But do you overuse them? Like, a lot? Like, periods are no longer how you end your sentences? You know... When someone overuses them like this... Like they're constantly trailing off... Never using a comma... Just tons of ellipses...

It's like ants pooped in your RP. Little tiny dots everywhere.

Funny, I always pictured Mynx/Bobcat as being more the tie-er than the tie-ee, if that makes any sense. How else would she keep Synapse/Neuron from running away?

Did you ever find your way back out, or did you chicken out and escape via base teleporter?

Hmmm...I don't know. I'm just pretty sure I overuse them.

I don't end my sentences with them, unless it's an uncompleted thought and then I might, but I just don't know!

I found my way out. Ended up busting through one of the ventilation grates and wound up right in front of the Tower.

...

Now that I think of it, if the tunnel leading from the helicopter pad in Grandville (the only outside-accessible area besides the heavily guarded front gate) leads -directly- to the tower that Lord Recluse lives in... And the only thing that is guarding it are tiny Arachnobots in swarms that can be killed with a minor AoE...

It was fortified by the lowest bidders and committees of mad scientists. It's heavily fortified, but not necessarily well fortified.
