If there's a better place to go than that stupid nightclub that actually has other RP'ers, I'd so be there.
People would have to go to this hypothetical new spot, and spend time there, even while it was almost empty, until it gained a consistent population.

I've just recently came back to CoX. The one thing that I have missed out of EVERY other game that I have played is the RP. CoX has always been the place for me when it comes to serious or lighthearted rp. But the biggest thing was that people put an effort into their characters, whether it was a child or an adult, a hero or a villain, a pimp or a porn star. It didn't matter. The RP here has been the best I've ever experienced, and I came back BECAUSE of it.
Now, as far as my character is concern, when I came back, I had to retcon my original storyline for said character, so I'm starting over from scratch. But he's now an alt compared to my main. My new main's backstory is simple enough to be relevant. An arms dealer using a security corporation to launder money and find new potential clients. I say it's simple because I've pretty much built my character to act like a dick; be arrogant, egotistical, and self-centered. It's about him, and will always be about him. But he knows that in order to be top gun, he's got to have a great team behind him.
My character is a leader, but for him to lead, the team has to be relevant. So I'm rebuilding my VG from the ground up, and making sure that the characters in the VG have well defined roles, and back stories. For me, if RP is going on, I'm happy. Even if I'm not participating. If RP is vacant, like the Sewer teams that spam Mercy Island broadcast all the time, I'm out near Arbiter Richards, openly RPing with anyone that wants to participate. Of course, I'm always looking at recruiting, but it's about the RP first and foremost.
I would really be interested in a more "classic" RP Group, ala JLA/Avengers.
I just started playing COX (about 2 mos in 
but I have been RPing for quite some time now.
My toons are all below lvl 50 but I love to play in game content as opposed to PLing.
