(BRAVO! Definitely enjoyed the read. I'm now tempted to write a story line for my own characters. Way to inspire!)

Okay, so here's what I want to do. I want to showcase City of Heroes in a new podcasting format that I'm rebuilding. I've been apart of several other podcasting organizations in the past, and have done podcasts for WoW, EQ, and other games. Well, instead of using these other organizations to do podcasts and have them take all of the credit for the work, I'm going to house and showcase the podcasts myself.

Now, I'm not looking to have people join my SG/VG to participate in these podcasts, but I am looking for individuals that know aspects of the game to bring about a format that would be appealing to anyone and everyone that plays. I want to showcase the RP community first and foremost, as this is the only game that I have ever left and came back to only because the RP was great. And now with CoX as Free to Play, I want to build off of it by helping those understand what it means to play City of Heroes.

Here are my requirements:

- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be able to participate on a bi-weekly or weekly basis
- Must not be deflammatory to the community or specific individuals while participating with the podcasting team
- Must be willing to participate in podcasts or other organizational events outside of the main podcast
- Must have a working knowledge of the game, i.e. been playing for a while
- Must be literate and have an ability to communicate well
- Must be willing to write out articles for the website on top of participating in the podcast
- Must be willing to participate in creating fictional advertisements for the podcast
- Must play on the Virtue Server

Other Details: We are looking for RPVGs to Coalition with, and RPSGs to have confrontations or normal storyline interactions with.

I've just recently came back to CoX. The one thing that I have missed out of EVERY other game that I have played is the RP. CoX has always been the place for me when it comes to serious or lighthearted rp. But the biggest thing was that people put an effort into their characters, whether it was a child or an adult, a hero or a villain, a pimp or a porn star. It didn't matter. The RP here has been the best I've ever experienced, and I came back BECAUSE of it.

Now, as far as my character is concern, when I came back, I had to retcon my original storyline for said character, so I'm starting over from scratch. But he's now an alt compared to my main. My new main's backstory is simple enough to be relevant. An arms dealer using a security corporation to launder money and find new potential clients. I say it's simple because I've pretty much built my character to act like a dick; be arrogant, egotistical, and self-centered. It's about him, and will always be about him. But he knows that in order to be top gun, he's got to have a great team behind him.

My character is a leader, but for him to lead, the team has to be relevant. So I'm rebuilding my VG from the ground up, and making sure that the characters in the VG have well defined roles, and back stories. For me, if RP is going on, I'm happy. Even if I'm not participating. If RP is vacant, like the Sewer teams that spam Mercy Island broadcast all the time, I'm out near Arbiter Richards, openly RPing with anyone that wants to participate. Of course, I'm always looking at recruiting, but it's about the RP first and foremost.

Shadow Corporation just restarted. I've been gone for a couple of years now, and I'm in the process of rebuilding the VG. Hit me up @Savarius if you are interested for more info.

My VG is pretty small, but we're always interested in building up the RP storylines so that we can bring out more RP togetherness amongst the community. Hit me up @Savarius and we can discuss more.

Nothing required with the Vent server.... It's like for TFs, Mission runs, etc.... No RPing involved.... I personally don't believe in Roleplaying through Voice.

Hey Victory,

I've just moved to the server as some of you already know. And I would like to get people together to get some Roleplaying established. If you are interested, please message back here or message me in game as either Syns or at @Savarius .

New to the server myself, moving from Virtue and hopefully will help build the RP community on Victory.

You know, I have posted a thread on several of the other server sections, and this is the first server to actually be civil about Roleplaying. I am won over by the general comments and am very pleased. I believe I have found a new home and will be bringing my main over to this server effective immediately.


Just for those that would like to know, I will be on Redside primarily, as my main in a villain. But I do plan on playing a BlueSide toon from time to time.

On top of everything else, I also have my own Internet Radio station where I was thinking about doing some Podcasts or Videocasts of CoX, or dedicate a show or 10 to whatever server I decided to play on. And after speaking with a lot of individuals in game, Victory is the new home.
