Love the look of the Polar Lights. Their simplicity and low profile lets them fit in with all sorts of character concepts.

They could also be a male that enjoys looking feminine. The majority of people with transvestite preferences are heterosexuals who enjoy dressing or looking like the opposite sex. Sort of like how not all women who expose more than their eyes and hands in public are prostitutes. Some might be, but the majority are not.
i like the Polar Lights and Robotic Drones for offering more variety in sizes and shapes of pets. i'm more likely to use Storm Elementals myself, but i like having the options.

On topic: I like the lights as they are. 'Dots of light' ARE very concept friendly, and losing most of the screen space to pet spam is annoying enough in the trials that I heartily endorse the little guys.

On topic, I actually want't interested at all in the Lore pets due to the pets not fitting the concepts for either of my 50s. It wasn't until I was told the Robotic Drones were the targeting drones and not the big Mastermind robots that actually sparked my interest.
So now I might just get them on one of my 50s because of the small size.
Of course, when I heard Polar Lights I figured they we the mobs from the Winter event (which were grey-blue Extracted essences, IIRC).
Also, I figured the Robotic Drones were the IDF flying cannons that show up in Sutter and during the Praetorian Invasion.

For concept reasons I was hoping the Polar Lights were gonna be the snowmen dudes from the winter event. Having a perma "Summon Snow Beast" would have ruled! Oh well. Perhaps they will make them later down the line. I sure wouldn't cry.

I personally they're far too tiny. They look pathetic. I was expecting something a tad bigger, about the size of the wisps in croatoa as they're smaller then a singularity and not overly big. Big enough to see yet not overpowering like some of the giant robot pets.

I didn't plan on unlocking the Lore pets since none of them went with the concept of my Warshade or Peacebringer, currently my only two incarnates. That all changed with the introduction of Storm Elementals and Polar Lights, respectively.
So...yes. I am glad for the Polar Lights. By the sounds of it, I do wish they were a bit bigger, but that is just a minor nitpick on my part. I'm just happy to have them available.

The only issue I have with polar lights atm is that there is no visual or audio cue that they're attacking. None whatsoever. They don't even appear to approach the enemy.

A Thought occurred to me for Polar Lights/Robotic Drones:
Give us the option to use either the present appearance or the Winter Event/IDF Flying Cannons (Polar Lights/Robotic Drones respectively) through the power customization options. Have two different choices for each sub pet instead of 1.
