Same.

I also don't know about anyone else but I love the witch story line. Them being able to drive off someone as badass as Eric says a lot. And says even more about Lafayette.

Yeah......although........(Book Spoiler coming up!!!)

I really liked the character Willow from the books that did that to Eric. Come on, a witch that also happens to be a werewolf! I wonder why they veered off her story and made this character?

maybe they didn't want to do the whole Whedon thing and have a witch named Willow XD lol jkjk. Maybe they didn't want to hire a new actor.

No the best line...

Eric: Snookie...

Sookie: Sookie!

No the best line was by Pam, but I can't really post it here in the forums.

"F-U, eat you then kill you"

I love Pam - her and Tara are my fav. chars in the show (well, and Eric, but for the eye candy.. )

Anyone else notice the 4th-wall breaking joke, where Sookie was reading a book by Charlaine Harris?

Actually it was, "I'll give you 24 hours to deliver that witch to me and if you don't I will personally eat, **** and kill all three of you." (Take that Twilight!)

Yeah, was great. And nice of the show to finally show Sookie doing one of her favorite activities. (Besides laying out)

Which is in itself might be a reference to the first season when Sookie comes home from her first date with Bill and finds her grandmother waiting up reading the same book.

Sorry I haven't commented since the first episode folks; I was basically on vacation for two weeks. Anyway, thoughts . . .

  • Quote of the night: TIE between "Jessica ***** you?" and "Oh my gravy." They sure do love giving Jason the best lines.
  • Boy am I glad that Tommy offed his ****** up folks; for a minute there I was scared we'd have to go through a rehash of Sam helping Tommy escape their clutches.
  • As with the Maenad from Season 2, it's nice to see that vampires don't necessarily have their run of the supernatural world and they actually fear witches.
  • He's your great, great, great, great, great grandfather, Portia! Jeez!
  • Well, I suppose I can deal with the Arlene's Baby plot so long as it's Rene's spirit, which ties into the main plot a bit better, as opposed to the baby being evil.
  • I was worried when Jessica saved Jason that there'd be a romantic triangle, but it's nice to see that Jason's conscience nags at him even subconsciously, especially with Hoyt being one of those characters that you'd perhaps like to hate since he has such a smokin chick but you can't since he's so decent.
  • I see that Sookie has retained her investigative prowess.
  • Anyone else recall Sam's MILF saying that a shifter can gain extra power from killing their kin? I foresee a lot of shenanigans by Tommy, perhaps to the extreme where he tries to take over Sam's life.
  • Man, it sucks to see that it appears Tara and Sookie will be at odds and splitting screentime yet again; it's always awesome when you get two strong female characters watching each other's back.
  • Can't wait for Marnie's epic breakout when that witch spirit decides it doesn't want to be locked up again.
  • They're already trying to top the horrendous sex scene between Bill and Lorena, I see.
  • I'm curious to see how Jesus' grandfather's power stacks up against a possessed Marnie, and how long before the vampires find out about him.
  • I wonder how they'll attempt to tie Tara's plotline to what's going on in Bon Temps.
  • Way to let the cat out of the bag, Pam, especially when things are getting hot and heavy between Sookie and Eric.
  • It can't be long before the AVL decides to step in and eat some witches.

I'm fairly certain Rene is possessing Trash Baby... which makes it even creepier.

Okay, new episode, 7/31.

Looks like their weres are like the WoD weres, in that the condition is genetic, and cannot passed on through bites, etc. Good news for Jason!

I like Jesus' grandpa. He's awesome.

Tommy is still doing stupid stuff and making Sam's life harder. Meh.

I wish I had HBO, just finished season 3 on DVD and now I'm going through True Blood withdrawal.

50Soulsunder: DM/Regen Scrapper
50Limitshift: EM/WP Brute
Victoria Nox: Dark/Dark Dominator
And about 5 others that change constantly...

Sam is going to go off on Tommy when he finds out.

The season is really ramping up and each episode is getting better and better. Anything with lots of Pam is awesome.

I've fully accepted the changes to the show, so it's not a complaint but I wish they had the were's more like the books. (book spoilers below)

BOOK SPOILERS........................................

I like how in the books people who've been bitten enough (it takes quite a bit) become were's but only partial were's ala the Wolfman (humanoid, walking upright, with the animals features) when they change. Only genetic were's actually turn fully into their animals. That said, I still have a feeling that we aren't done with Jason's "change".

Jason's fairy blood might have something to say about turning into a supernatural being.
