Here it is people straight from a red name! The game will soon be giving us $20 a month! However Paragon Studios is a sneaky one, by giving us a digital $20 a month we don't actually know whether they are sequentially numbered or random! Don't they have any idea how hard it is to stack digital $20 bills when we don't even know how they are numbered! This travesty is an insult to the many veteran players of this game, the very "VIPs" they claim to be protecting!

For that matter we don't even get a whole solid $20 digital bill. NO all we get is two fives and a ten! So now we have two different denominations and they still have no numbers on them! We don't know if the fives are sequential and the tens are random or not! Maybe I wanted my tens sequentially numbered and my fives to be random!

DID YOU EVER THINK OF THAT PARAGON STUDIOS!

I Urge you my fellow players protest this tragedy with all your might.

At the very least add an option to Null the Gull to select which currency we would like to be randomly numbered and which we would like to be sequentially numbered!

What I want to know is if the $20 in imaginary money is in Imaginary American or Imaginary Canadian currency.

More to the point (and less in jest), I don't foresee myself using 1 server transfer a month. Heck, I've never used one, ever.

I know that it is a perk to a lot of people, but there have to be at least some other folks for whom a transfer a month is just going to go to waste.

Perhaps there will be more call to move characters to the "VIP" server or whatever, but I'm not certain I'd do that either. Probably just start up a couple new ones there, or something.

I know it doesn't really matter, but I'm not seeing the server txfrs as free money. Great for some, approaching useless for others. *shrug* Obviously this is just the way it is, and it's something a lot of people wanted, so you know, great. Just putting in a bit of dissent, as usual.

hmm, this actually tells me something nice, they are using whole dollar value amounts for at least some of the pricing. one thing that annoys me elsewhere is the idea that points always leave change. i cant put 5 bucks down, get a 400 point item (in this case a story arc) and not have some remnant sitting there.

I realize this is done to nudge people to spend further, and we still don't know the prices of clothing sets , animations or the like. but honestly paragon, im not a hard sell, make quality stuff and ill buy it, dont try to do the point offsets to try to nudge me, as it has lead to me buying less on other gaming services because i hate having loose ends. please keep em even.

Eh, even if you dont use the server transfers very often, there comes a time where some level 50s need to retire, and the best way to do that is to transfer them to a server you don't use often. It helps a lot to free up slots on your main server (i did it with Arbegla 1.0, as i just couldn't bring myself to delete her, but the 2.0 incarnation is just so much better..)

That, and they don't expire. It's not going to spoil or rot, it's just going to sit there until you decide one day to use it. Even if you've never used a server transfer before, there might be a reason to use one in the future. I know that when we got free transfers in the past, I transferred a couple characters around just because I could. I went and checked out other servers on characters of decent levels instead of making a lowbie. It was kinda nice. And if you never use transfers now, you can just sit and wait a few months and you'll have several transfers available to you. The longer you wait, the more transfers you'll get. Feel like taking a "vacation" some day down the line? You're taken care of by the multitude of free transfers you've banked.

I can see all that as appealing, but as I only have 2 50s to date, basically play on one server, and routinely clean up alts that I decided (for whatever reason) not to continue building - I just don't see the transfers as "Free $10/month."

I know I am in the extreme minority here, and I'm certain there is nothing else that could fill that slot that would keep the player base happy instead of transfers. Taken further, I'm not even asking that we can cash them in for something else. They'll sit there like all the other stuff I that I don't really need currently. Like the 4 character slot tokens I am sitting on.

I'll grant also that after Freemdom goes live, there may be more compelling reasons to use server transfers.

I guess I just don't like marketingspeak. Call it what it is. A perk. It's dollar value is only relevant to people who would otherwise buy them through other means. If I subscribe to the game for a year and am sitting on 12 transfers that I can either use or let sit (and that I have no need/want to use) - then you haven't given me $10 value in "points", you've given me a free server transfer.

In all honesty, I'm not even certain why I am posting about it. I'm probably the only person in the game that can't find a use for that many transfers. Heh.
