Incarnate Launch Zone

I didn't think bartenders bought enhancements, salvage and recipes though. That is my major complaint with Pocket D is you have to leave the zone to sell drops. My only major concern with RWZ is when there is a mothership raid, otherwise its great for a staging area. I have actually been to more trials on servers that use RWZ than I have that use PD. The highest population servers tend to use PD, I think, but many of the other servers use RWZ.

Personally, I think the main reason pocket D is favored is cuz of the GvE porter

I can only speak for Infinity, which uses RWZ way more often than PD.

They don't buy anything but recipes (definitely not enhancements).

And Victory uses ONLY Pocket D to form Incarnate Trials currently, so it really varies by server.

Ok, since I can see SOOOO many ways that it could fit into the storyline....

New Power: Praetoria Staging Area Teleporter

Level Unlocked: 50

Text: The war with Praetoria rages on, and to facilitate the attacks Positron/Mako has given you a small device that will send you to the staging area for the forward offensive. Use it to connect with other heros/villains wishing to stop Cole dead in his tracks.

As I said before, it would have to be big enough to hold a lot of folks, but since the look is going to be minimal (I am seeing an area like Fire Base Zulu) that shouldn't be too hard.

As long as my Incarnate Lunch Zone has a Chipotle, I'm happy.

That's funny. Hey instead of a nurse, could we get a bartender that sells Insp like in the Tiki room? I just can't face those Praetorian incarnates dry....

Don't forget the Icon Rep/Facemaker.

Seriously though I could use a Black Market rep in that zone. Pls pls pls.

But...FBZ is much more difficult to get to from other zones than either RWZ or PD - one cannot get a direct port to FBZ unlike either of the others.

There is always a lot to be thankful for, if you take the time to look. For example, I'm sitting here thinking how nice it is that wrinkles don't hurt. ~Author Unknown

Oh no. Not the actual FBZ. I mean just make it LOOK like that. Ya know, military stuff around, the crates, tanks, etc. Make it look like a military staging area LIKE that.

So sorry....My bad. I agree, something like FBZ would make an ideal setting to launch Incarnate trials from - as long as it had all the trimmings, i.e portal for zoning, Insp seller, a WW, work tables and of course comfy chairs to sit while we wait (j/k)

I can get behind the idea of an Incarnate Launch Zone. It would make much more sense story wise that meeting up in Pocket D or RWZ right now and being ported out of thin air into Praetoria.

As others have said, as long as it had all the trimmings of vendors, etc. and had an appearance of a military staging area that would be great. I'd also toss in that I think it should have some ... object ... that we interact with to get us into Praetoria. We are crossing an inter-dimensional barrier so I think accessing a device to get us there wouldn't be too far fetched. The device would only need to be touched by the league leader to get us all there. We wouldn't/shouldn't have to touch it individually.

When reading this, I actually picture that Portal Corp map used in the Apex/Tin Mage task force where all the major heroes of Paragon are lined up and you enter the portal to go fight Neuron. Done.

This, the vanguard pack should have brought parity.

You remember the "secret room" under Peregrine Island that was originally intended to be used as the Arena Interior, before it got abandoned for the Arena Interior we've got now ... and which can only be accessed by characters who are "in it" via Recall Friend? Yeah ... THAT ROOM.

Make that room a co-op Zone all by itself, and put the "requisite" NPCs and services around the perimeter of it. I'm sure that someone (somewhere) has a screencap of it handy.

It's the end. But the moment has been prepared for ...

Thats a good idea. Toss some military equipment in there and a computer that acts as the "portal" for the i-trials and BAM! incarnate trial launch zone!

I know it should be obvious but I think it is worth mentioning that any such trial staging zone lock out people without GR. I've run into the guy without GR problem when launching but not the guy under level 50 myself.

There ya go. Yet another reason. That HAS happened to some I have been on.

Location is 1009.1 -1084.3 -3529.7 in Peregrine Island.

Make this room its own Co-op Zone ... perhaps accessible from Pocket D and the Midnighter's Club. Put in ... a Vault Door (SG Base Item) on a wall, with a pair of Invention Tables flanking it ... and a NPC Vendor who sells Inspirations and buys Recipies and Salvage (SG Base Auto Doc Item).

DONE.

It's the end. But the moment has been prepared for ...

Any change to player behavior since the changes to the LFG system? I still haven't had any luck with LFG for trials.

I've noticed that some League leaders will queue an open league before they fill it to the max, then announce that the league is queued and anyone who wants to join should just queue themselves.

This has the advantage of getting the extra astral for an open league, and still allows others to join.

Gob has a good point as usual.. I have unlocked the last two incarnates I made through trials and never went near the mendor so a stipulation that you can't get into thr launch zone with your Alpha open is BAD..

Although.. Now you could simple use 5 Astrals from another Incarnate you own, IF YOU OWN ONE, and buy an open Alpha slot but that IF still makes it an unfair situation, A new player gets his first 50 and while others are opening powers left and right he can't get into the zone until he completes the ender arc. Not a horrible situation by any means but I can't see the Devs setting anything up that would grant access to one group and deny it to another.
