Why run Keyes Island?
well, if its fun, there's that. plus, baf can be kinda skimpy on ixp, so there's that too.
What in the world does this have to do with the perceived level of challenge in each trial? Also, I would say it's not so much that BAF is easier, rather than it's far, far harder to screw up. People understand "kill enemies, fight AVs" but plenty of threads have proven that "use temp power" completely and utter throws some players.

I can't recall the last BAF or Lambda I was on that failed. |
"Men strunt r strunt och snus r snus
om ock i gyllne dosor.
Och rosor i ett sprucket krus
r stndigt alltid rosor."
i would go with the ..its is something else to do , BAF and Lam, lag aside, are pretty simple once you have done them more than five times, and get a bit dull after a while. THB i prefer BAF and the fun of the leader screaming HOLD as one AV drops way faster than the other.
My major issue with Incarnate stuff is lack of content, and i do prefer soemting that makes me think rather than just go blam buff blam buff, so i have no issue with complex and difficult.
After all one can stick with BAF and Lam if keyes is not to ones taste
Heaven forbid we get content that is actually challenging and forces players to actually work together.
Still seen Lambda's failed a fair few times because, despite the whole Lab team still being online and in-mission, someone isn't using their Acids.
When three doors stay open for too long, Marauder has his own little army of LTs and Bosses that will laugh in your face and shat missile all over you.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

I like the look of this sort of trial. I hated Lambda and BAF because of how utterly grindy they were, but Keyes Island looks like a step in the right direction with the rewards.
Anyone else thinking of purposely failing the trial just so poor Anti can get a break from his boss?

Did you know you can get more acids from the chambers that spawn outside in the courtyard?
Now maybe it's cause people on Liberty are awesome () but having all 10 doors open now it doesn't matter for the runs I've been on. Spawns can be (and will be) judged.
Usually on Lambda runs there is about 2 doors/portals still open....if it's less than 4 I don't even bother to wait and say, "take out the doors!"
Heh, in fact the last Lambda I was on, there were 2 doors left and the leader said, "we need to take them out." I said something to the effect of, "it's only 2..." and this is while we were fighting Marauder and he was down to like 20 or so HP (20/100). Leader said, "I've failed because we had 2 open." But about 1 min. later Marauder died...
Again, not saying it's not possible that the adds swarmed them or whatever but...*shrugs* I don't see it as a challenge/worry anymore.

yup, sounds like another day in hell for MMs with 1shot pets from all the AoE procs firing off

Can we at least wait to test it once or twice before we ragequit/complain how it will kill MMs?

Not only does it look far more complicated than BAF or even Lambda,
|
Edit: or perhaps not much different than Lambda time-wise.
On when people want to be idiots... and it'll only take once to weed them out with stars and notes.
Reading the overview..
**Anti-Matter turns on his RFID system in response to the ID tag scrambling. Anti-Matter must now be near a terminal before a terminal accepts a Power Cell.**
That stands out as bad...
I'm betting that wormhole won't work against him to move him about and every other control power will be counter to the overall trial. You won't want him slowed down, immob, held, disoriented, confused, slept and certainly not phased. This pretty much is counter to what controllers and dominators do reducing their overall function. Its a potential concern.

I'm guessing there will be other mobs to lock down/defeat so that you don't have to worry about AM....*shrugs* we'll see.

and the BAF is easier than the Lambda?
1. BAF has a cut scene that ties up every player for 1-2 minutes before they even get inside the compound. |
BTW, we'll be skipping the cut scene soon. If everyone on the trial has seen it already (i.e. run the trial at least once) it will auto-skip the cut scene.

The Mentor Project
If all the characters in a League have successfully completed an Incarnate Trial, the introductory cut scene for the Trial is automatically skipped so you can dive straight into the game action. |

" considerably more complex and difficult than the existing trials"
^^ this is why ill run this over baf & lambda

So what is the motivation to run KI more than once, if at all? It would have to award many more Astral and E-merits than the existing trials, given what it sounds like on paper. And more to the point, did we really need a third, harder option for ground that was already covered?

1. BAF has a cut scene that ties up every player for 1-2 minutes before they even get inside the compound. Lambda has a much shorter cut scene that takes place at the conclusion of part two of the trial and when it ends you are transported to the exit area to use your acids and attack the Av
