Other Alternate Dimensional Versions...

I think an interesting alternate would be one that started like Praetoria, but where Stefan Richter also manages to drink from the Well and survives Marcus Cole's preemptive attack on him.

We'd still see Cole as Tyrant, but now Richter (Tarantula works, I suppose) would provide an equally imposing force, most likely promoting liberty and individuality to oppose Cole's oppressive uniformity. It would be curious to see as to what side the Praetors would fall; I'd expect that Dominatrix would side with Tarantula just to tick her granddad off, and we know that Anti-Matter would follow her. I'd also have Nightstar keep her original, more humanoid form and join Tarantula out of hatred and jealousy/envy of Siege (maybe even a robotic lovers' quarrel). Chimera would also be almost a sure thing, as would Belladonna. To make things really nuts, keep Shalice and Aurora share a body but fight for control; when dominant, Shalice would support Cole, but Aurora would support Richter, resulting in neither of them being trusted fully and making an unstable time bomb that much more unstable.

It would be worth noting that just because he promotes individual liberty, Tarantula still might not be any more of a "good guy" than Tyrant. Or maybe he'd be a paragon of compassion and chivalry. Lots of ways to have fun with this.

How about a world where Cole and Richter found each other after the incident at the Well and remained friends? Moreover they continued their crime sprees with their old compatriots, using their ill-gotten gains to outfit their friends with state-of-the-art gear to keep up with them as their lieutennants in their criminal gang?

In this world is a brilliant and ambitious toymaker who managed to live beyond his years built a little empire for himself in his homeland in Austria, improving the lives of its citizens and becoming a national hero. Unable to sit back and watch these super-criminals unleash terror and chaos around the world, he rises up and builds steam and clockwork machines that can match them, outfitting brave souls willing to stand up to the menace of the Cole gang, and in honor of his goal he names himself their Nemesis!

While slowing them down and preventing a number of henious crimes from taking place, he is still unable to stop them alone. Over time, Even as their gang grows and numbers and power, their Nemesis, too, comes across others who stand up to Cole and Richter's growing criminal empire. A powerful psychic who grew up idolizing the Nemesis, who can communicate with machines, and even animate small clockwork robots he has built himself! A mysterious masked woman who has knowledge beyond her years and her rag-tag group of European acrobats who fight with a flair and style never seen before! A Baron who discovered a lost civilization and learned the knowledge of an entire race of sorcerers, making him the most powerful wizard of this age!

Together, with the help of the U.N. peacekeeping organization M.A.L.T.A., they now fight against the world-dominating menace of Cole and Richter's army of high-tech terrorists and metahumans that have joined their cause.

I think it would be neat...

It's not an alternate dimension, but I love a Medieval World (like we have Roman World!) with King Arthur and his knights and stuff.

If everything fails, we can go to egypt and save the realm from the evil Colenubis which came ouf of the sky with a huge spaceship, that we need to fight us a way into it, initiate the self-destruction sequence and escape the ship before it forces a jump into a black hole.

Television world. That is all.

I've been intrigued by KoA World (one of Tina McIntyre's one-offs, I believe) for some time now. I keep telling myself that one of these days I should make an AE arc where you drop in on KoA World on the day they're re-enacting the Great Gender War. Sadly, fake mustaches are not available as female costume parts...
