Where the heck is King Midas?
Goldbrickers need a larger level range and much more fleshing out. Same as the Luddites. Two great groups, horribly neglected. Corolax at least get a SF, I guess.
GG, I would tell you that "I am killing you with my mind", but I couldn't find an emoticon to properly express my sentiment.

I was also disappointed at the lack of Midas and lack of any real fleshing out of the Legacy Chain.
I think the Goldbrickers are right where they want to be. They're just high-tech thieves that operate out of Cap Au Diable. They don't have any goals beyond stealing things to make money, so why would they get involved in all the craziness we tend to get into later on?
Anyway, most of the CoV zones have some group based out of the zone that pretty much vanishes once you leave it. I never see people wanting more Cage Consortium or Scrapyarders after Sharkhead, Mooks after Port Oakes, or Contaminated after Mercy, what makes Goldbrickers so special that they should have more content?

Agreed! Midas and the Goldbrickers really need a big push.

Eh, I don't think their story is anything beyond Midas going, "I wanna steal stuff, but let's be classy about it." And Midas happens to have diamond-hard skin.
Now the Infected, I think there might be a story to tell there. Just what is in that water that's apparently turning humans into Shivans or some equivalent?

In my head, it would be akin to if we never had the chance to fight Nemesis or Countess Crey, despite them being constantly mentioned in other Nemesis and Crey (respectively) story lines.
@Winter. Because I'm Winter. Period.

How do we know that King Midas and Golden Roller are not one and the same?

Poor Midas! Just because he's named as the head of a villain group players want to hurt him!

Aeon, as well, is working with them - but quite obviously doesn't meet Midas's description. We know Shelly Percy has worked with (on) Midas, after all. But doesn't even hint it's Aeon.
And what about Golden Roller?
There's quite a bit going on that never really gets explored, much less tied together.
Cage, by comparison, is rather straightforward - a soulless mining company whose boss wants to get the blood coral (profit) and doesn't particularly care about the workers. The scrapyarders - eh. They're tied to the Legacy Chain somewhat - but the LC aren't all that interesting of a group, quite honestly. They're magical Longbow.
The luddites don't get any real exposure at all.
The snakes, at least, have an Incarnate leader and come back in the 45-50 range.

MA ArcID: 1197
You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. Winston Churchill
Try out my first MA arc "Wrath of the Luddites" (#3740). I know it's non-canon but I tried to flesh out the Luddites' back-story and King Midas (or my vision of him) appears in the final mission.
I'd rather work with Midas than against him, to be honest. Have my own squad of Goldbrickers and go around Cap stealing stuff with them.

Coralax. They were inhabitants of the rogue isles before anyone else. There is much deep lore about this group including the power of the complete Leviathon. We get to face only it's eyeball in the SF "The Temple of the Waters" Imagine if the Leviathon wasn't bound as it is. There is a huge story there.
Talking about underused enemies... Some of my favourites should get some spotlight. Im tired of low-res skyriders.
My favourites are:
Legacy chain, goldbrickers, luddites, wyvern, snakes...
Most of them CoV early-mid levels enemies. They deserve more exposure!

Assuming Golden Roller is Midas, we already are.

This has been bothering me for a long time as well. At first I set aside my annoyance by figuring that my story/contact progression just never hit the right contact to properly explore the Goldbrickers, and when I eventually realized that wasn't the case, I had gotten used to not knowing.
But the Goldbrickers ARE such a huge part of that level range. Missions where you steal from them. Missions from Dr. Percey where you learn more and more about their leader. There's a pretty big buildup for the Goldbrickers with no payoff at the end.
As for the other villain groups...
Luddites? There are NO missions that involve their storyline, or if there are I have yet to see one. They have never come forward out of the background.
Cage Consortium you get to work with for several contacts. Vince Dubrowski most notably. And they seem quite straightforward. Almost playing to a stereotype. I would be interested in seeing a story arc developed that fleshes them out and puts a face on the upper management, but as they currently are I have better things to do (And I am always pissed off when I get a missions that uses their factory site as a map. So annoying).
Wyvern -- Very clearly Manticore's personal Longbow. We get to fight Manticore several times, though never in direct connection with Wyvern.
Legacy Chain -- I'd like to see more of them. Their story is however ended now with the new villain arc (Sorry, I can't remember the name) where you temporarily get Incarnate power and destroy their army. Whatever plans and aspirations they had are squashed by you in-game by eliminating all of their members, and I am happy with that.
Scrapyarders are pretty straightforward, and if this was City of Heroes I'm sure there would be a story arc where you help raise them up, but this is City of Villains, and we spend a lot of time taking away whatever they have. As a villain, I delight in keeping them under my boot and not letting them attain any power but keeping them around, and crushing their dead leader periodically adds enough spice to the matter to keep me happy.
Jazra -- Level 50 Illusion/Radiation Controller
Swayvill -- Level 50 Plant/Psi Dominator
Droshalla -- Level 50 Warshade
Latro Dectus -- Level 50 Fortunata
Starseeds -- Level 50 Elec/Storm controller
Wyvern -- Very clearly Manticore's personal Longbow. We get to fight Manticore several times, though never in direct connection with Wyvern.

It makes perfect sense that you would never fight Manticore in direct connection with Wyvern, it would out him to the public as being their boss and make him look REALLY bad.

He doesn't admit that they work for him. He tries very hard to not let people in on the fact that he has his own private mercenary army that bends or flat out ignores any and all laws in the pursuit of whatever he sets them on.

Which makes me wonder why Miss Liberty hasn't been arrested yet, since Longbow at several points straight up admits that Liberty is their leader.
Sometime I honestly wish Wyvern replaced 50% of Longbow red side. I find them more interesting and their operating procedure less distasteful.

I find them less painful and much less ANNOYING (looking at you Nullifier Grenade spam) than Longbow. At the same time, I find them more appropriate than Longbow.
Seriously, just one simple request: Make King Midas already. There's an entire enemy group under him and half a million referances to him, yet he doesn't exist. Not much more to say beyond that.
