    I need an adult!

I rarely post on here but I had to say I have been with CoH and Liberty since day 1 and you guys are my 2nd family/home and this news is quite disturbing for me.

Thank you for the great times and memories you will be VERY missed. I still enjoy this game as much as I did when it first came out.

    *shocked.....just shocked*

    Take care all best wishes,

    Daemein
  2. So i just got a new gaming lap top anything i should know about running CoH on 7? The launcher and game installed fine and seems to be running fine. Windows 7 seems to have a lot of stuff going on in the background and start up that im not familar with from my old Windows XP.
  3. Thx for replying all. I ended up just buying a new comp....my comp was 6+ years old it was time for a new one. I love my new fancy gaming laptop
  4. *warning i am not tech savy*
So I have been playing CoH since day one and have never had such bad problems before with the game :/ I have gotten this message a couple times:

    ./piggs/fonts.pigg: Failed memory allocation
    Read failed for file: fonts/msgothic.ttc
    -1

The game ran out of memory and must now exit.

along with the game crashing, whole comp rebooting, whole comp crashing, lag, pausing, ect over the last say 30 days

One thing I have noticed just this say past week is the RAM usage. It has usually hovered around 750 MB with the game running but now it starts around 1 GB and climbs to about 1.5 GB before it crashes. I use to be able to play all day and never go over 1 GB.

I have 3 GB of RAM /w 32 bit. I play on performance mode for graphics settings. I also use game booster when I play. I cannot get CoH Helper to work for me which i know is a whole other tech issue. I have .Net Framework 2.0 not sure why it wont run for me? I did run hijack here is that info:

I would love an arc in Cap that has Midas at the end

THANK YOU i did change the master acct pw not the game pw.... i have updated the game pw as well. hope that resolves my issue.

I'm really surprised i have not recieved any response to my in game help request i sent the other night. Not even the standard "we got ur message but don't know anything yet" email.

The lethal resistance is a big deal for nin/nin. I had 2 nin/nin stalkers at one point but they got deleted wait till ur in the 30s and ur going through ur attack chain 2-3 times just to kill one guy. Also at higher levels caltrops and blinding power really don't work as awesome as you would think.

Sounds like we have similar play styles/like I would look into for primarys:

elec or dark..... i would say elec but my favorite is dark so im gonna try that out

    for 2ndary:

Really most of them work IMO. elec, wp, and regen are the ones i'm thinking about. As someone mentioned above also stalkers have low max HP which a heal power like elec, wp, and regen has works well. WP has both resist and def so it does better in pve then the others.

I think im going to try a dark/regen stalker. I hope this is "my stalker" i've tried so many combos nothing sticks with me. I love the nin/nin concept but the performance is too noticeably bleh i cannot play it.

I would vote elec/wp or elec/elec for best pve builds
  12. i was on liberty 2am mst. i was the ONLY one who got kicked rest of my sg/friends on liberty had no issues. also there was no red warning message about the maintenance. I still had to use my old password to log into the forums :/
  13. Tonight (this morning technically) while playing I was forced kicked from the game. I was the only one kicked from the game with the forced kicked message. Why would this happen? Only theory I've heard is someone got a hold of my password and was login in those 2 times i got kicked. I have not shared my password with anyone. I went to ncsoft website and updated my password but it still takes my old one to log into the game and the forums. Time delay?

    Thoughts?
  14. Don't know where to ask this but I've always wondered why we're only allowed to have 4 power pools at a time. There are some toons of mine I'd use 5 or even 6.
  15. What about:

    1. Illusion control for doms
    2. Fire melee for stalkers
    3. Fire armor for stalkers

    have these been discussed yet?
