No more Ninja/Beast run in trials ? Really ?

Today after the patch, I was not able to use ninja run in an incarnate trial.
As a superspeeder with no vertical power, this will not make my job easy during lambda trials.
At least with ninja run, I could jump on the roof behind the main entrance, and then from turret to turret.

Not anymore.

I can see the day where superspeeder will be kicked from trials. Am I the only one ?

It's probably because they messed with prohibited mode flags in the patch--they supposedly enabled temp travel powers. So you should be able to use your Raptor Pack in the trials instead.

We just came back from a trial. Had someone complaining (in it) that they couldn't use Ninja Run. I could, so could multiple other people - and then theirs "un-greyed."

Patch day. Time to introduce new and exciting bugs to your City of Heroes experience!

Raptor Pack and Jump Pack broke as well.

Random question but which power tray do you have the powers in?

Cause sometimes my tray 4 becomes unresponsive. Usually I'll switch it to a differnet tray and back and then it's fine. If your powers are in Tray 4 this could be the cause of the problem.

That was me, I think. I should have taken it as a hint that the trial run would be anything but smooth!

I don't have Ninja Run in a tray at all, it's just a bind. Same problem.

Ninja Run now doesn't work (greyed out) for me, outside of trials.

Was on a BAF last night and ninja Run was greyed out.

Definitely not related to the tray issue I mentioned earlier as NR is on tray 3 and everything else worked fine.

My NR started greyed out, then popped back "on" during the tower phase on a Lambda (after I jetpacked up there) where I used it to jump from gun to gun and then turned "off" again for the rest of the trial.

Now that I type it, I wonder if toggling my jetpack triggered the NR active again and then it stayed "off" once I turned NR back off.

If your power tray is vertical flat on the middle right side of the screen there is a hidden pane there that is used for help popups. It is always there even when help popups are disabled. When you start the game the hidden pane starts on top of your power tray so you can't click on powers because it clicks on the hidden pane instead. You need to click on the powers tray to bring it to the front first. This is very annoying for me especially when I want to use a power in that tray quickly and discover I can't do it right away because I forgot to move the power tray to the front. I submitted a bug report a while back but it appears nothing has been done about it yet.

Menu - Options
Disabling the PopHelp (!) notifications removes this hidden pane.
