I haven't been this excited for something in April since I was told the story of zombie Jesus as a child.

They look awesome but I strongly disagree that they will turn out to be the scariest things ever seen in Dr. Who. In my opinion the scariest creature slot is tied between the Weeping Angels and those Shadow things the Doctor encountered on that library planet.

I agree with both those choices & would add to that, the thing that was tapping into the Doctor’s mind in “Midnight” & the thing that possessed the people in “The Water of Mars”.

Ya know thinking back to when I first started watching Dr. Who as a kid I remember that the Fendahl scared the bejeebers out of me and I couldn't watch all the episodes untill I was a few years older.

Seems silly now.

Ah, the Vashta Nerada. Also, you need to add the Empty Child to that list. (2 word reminder: gas mask.)

Interesting that the Empty Child, the Weeping Angels and the Vashta Nerada are all creations of Moffat's... isn't it?

More like "horrifying". I am not reassured by the presence of clowns in next season's trailer.

The Weeping Angels are probably one of the most terrifying creation ever.

They sit there and the look like statues...
You turn away and they move fast and will kill you before you know it...
You can always just keep on looking at them, but then if you stare at them too long you'll become one...

So you look away and get a quick death or keep looking and get a slow death.

At least it's not a Weeping Angel clown.

Yeah, I'd have to put the Empty Child and the Weeping Angels (at least for the first episode, the second was more of a 'crap, there's MORE of them?" than any real fright) at the top of the list.

It's 106 miles to Grandville, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing faceless helmets
