Started an ITF. and got to the 3rd mission, when the servers First went down.
I don't want to see the final time when we do finish. (if the TF is still running)
I'm a bit dissappointed. I took a day off work (7 am - 10 pm) to catch up on life/chores/errands. Here, at 5:30 pm, I'm finally done and wanted to sit down, prop up my feet and geek away on some hero type pew pew.
However, the servers are down.

You missed the point. Actually, two of you did. Base: Easier to get your bearings when you're looking at a map where what you need is up, left, or right. When you're facing forward, and you know you need to go right on the map, your brain has to translate that into left as you stand. It's not hard, but let's face it, we have a tendency to play long hours, and we also jet around superspeeding faster than we can think. It was necessary.
As for the Rhode Island thing, it was a joke, the forums are just moving too fast. UK get to keep their globals as compensation. My retort was that Paragon is in Rhode Island, so we have jurisdiction, therefore favorable treatment. That and Statesman is American and can beat you up.

Everything in the game is a wuss!! Cuz the devs listen to the majority and make us feel awesome and powerful, that way a silly cat girl RPer can feel tough because she can beat up statesman. Also, so they can systematically ruin this game by making us able to solo STFs, that way they can prepare to release CoH2:City of Incarnates. I'm talking Canon here. Statesman can and will beat you up, as will Recluse.
