strangely enough there was not much Tin Mage action in the speed group, ( i personally did all my runs with other groups till last night)

from the two runs that i joined last night (without phill), the best time was 20:23, but i am pretty sure that phill managed a much better time when he logged laters on

the best thing though was, that in one of the two runs, we got "dodger" badge without even aiming for it (no shivans, no warburg nukes)... that thing put a smile on my face that lasted in all my last night's gaming session

EDIT : i just logged in the game and i saw that a 15:14 Tin mage was accopliced last night

Support-wise we had a kin, dark, cold and 2 rads but in all honesty 'what people play is secondry to who plays them'.

Yes we used temps. Sands-of-moooooo FTW!

Went for Tin Mage record last night.

Managed 13m+ in first run with no nukes.

Then 11m05s with nukes on second run.

AVs dropped like minions! haha

Gratz!

I have a shiny new computer, so I'm hoping to get to join some speed-running goodness on Defiant again soon. (I only had 1 GB of working memory for a while on the old computer -- my zone load times were longer than it takes to clear most ITF missions.)

I agree with this. Components are worth 4 shards, so I'd rather 'shop' for components. Shards drop randomly, and you have no guarantee that you will get any. But the component reward is always there. With a good speed team, you can squeeze in 2 (or 3) SFs in 1 hr. Most of my 50s are tier 4 Alphas with 200+ shards from speed runs. Since I have the components, I don't need to do much conversion of shards.

Hess in 32 minutes is actually pretty slow... we routinely do it in under 30, our best is about 21 minutes I think.

We did ITF back to back to back to back just yesterday (well... I was on two of those, and another one run by someone else), all about 25-35 minutes each... sub 20 would be really flying. ^_^

MG's Dr. Q runs are usually about 3 hours, 3 and a half hours at most. That's not with all the contact babysitting and such, just a good team moving at a good clip.

Manti in 32 is a very good time too. I'm pretty sure we've matched that, but we've run speed Mantis a lot and I'm not sure we've ever been below 30 minutes.

Rather than weighing in on the whole Shard debate.

I instead issue you a challenge.

Yes someone mentioned it early.

The challenge of a sub 1 hour Dr Q run.

That isn't to say I'm not impressed by your times, I honestly am, those are faster than a rocket propelled Cheetah going down a mile long stretch of road completely covered in grease.

Did DrQ the other night. Only 7 active ppl on the team. Difficult to +stealth past the Rularuu! Managed 2h39m. Better than the six hours it took me the one and only other time I did this TF!

Have had a nice run of fast Mo TFs recently.

MoITF - 18.28
MoSTF - 35.14
MoKahn - 19.44

Of course, speed runs are getting easier as more ppl get more powerful incarnate powers.

That run was a pseudo-master... we didn't use any temps and no one died. I bet we would be able to run a 9:?? ITF with nukes, venom nades, Ultimates. Soon.

That's pretty impressive, all you need are ess ess fiyah's and corrs! Looks like most of my speed records have been broken. Although I haven't really ran anything in a while and most of the people I ran with don't play the game anymore.

Btw Hemm, what server do you PvE on?

So you can move on to your speed STF and speed LRSF and get them all done in slightly more time but with more drops and Merits than your lown "shard ITF"

You will always get more by doing multiple TFs than you will by dragging out a single TF. Always.

Virtue. I'm working on making a few more SF toons there aswell, but incarnating them is a tax and a half. I am also making a few on Freedumb.
