Is anyone else amused by the fact that the most-talked-about feature for I-20 (the NA/EU server list) is something NOT mentioned in the trailer?
Hey, Zwill, Black Pebble, this was just the teaser, right? Like those 30-second TV spots instead of the full preview-before-a-movie deal? We're gonna get a full-on trailer, too?

Any mention of us getting new costume pieces for i20? The IDF set was teased way back before i19. Other than the servers being together, not much news there. I thought people making such effort to go to see the CoH gang in person would be rewarded much more than this....or am I missing something?
Assumign that the list merge means they'll scrap the Euro Test server along with making the Beta sever open to everyone, that's going to totally smooth things like in-game events and testing - there'll be no need for the devs to have Euro accounts to go visit the Euro servers, and no need for separate Euro and American events on the two separate Test servers.
It also menas that the Euro players can use the normal Beta server for testing, and the new combined Test server wonät need to be locked while a closed beta is going on.

I'm very happy that I'll be able to play with the European people again. I remember playing with a bunch of them during i10 beta and it was a blast.

Personally i look forward to more servers and players to team with/on. i already enjoy teaming with people in Australia, Japan, and other Asian countries, so more EU players will add to the fun. If nothing else the increased diversity of slang will make things more amusing. Besides, EU players will be able to show off your crippling latency issues to people i've teamed with from the literal other side of the planet who don't experience it for some reason.
(Several months back there was a player who insisted that transatlantic ping times are cripplingly bad if EU players log onto US servers despite people who regularly log onto US servers from the EU as well as other side of the freaking planet not having those issues. But it doesn't count because he's an expert, so his assertions trump the real world. *waves at Residentx10*

I wonder if they might try making it so that the language isn't built in, and could be changed on any server?

Unless they plan on introducing some kind of insta-translator program (which would fail horribly and probably result in more humorous community in-jokes than it would useful communication) then it would be sort of a moot point unless you plan to bring along a bunch of english speaking pals or a translator.
Either way, I'm looking forward to poking around on the EU servers and seeing what the community is like there. Always fun. Might even see if I can get one of my buddies who used to play EU to start up an account again.

The fight that happens is actually quite fun I have to admit.
Male version of Fusionette is wearing IDF gloves and boots.
Maybe it will be avalaible for players too in I20?

They could even solicit for the data files to be translated by the community to support even more languages!
Spanish would have to be the next language they did - it'd be good for both the current server groups.

Pretty dull overall, and the 'rise to new levels of power' section in particular. Without knowing what was going those 'incarnate' powers just look like all the other powers used in the video: Showing the effect of them on enemies (blowing a room full of minions to bits at least) would have helped.
The music was nice and Praetoria looks as shiny as ever.
Weight training: Because you'll never hear someone lament "If only I were weaker, I could have saved them."

The trailer was too similar to Issue 18, and 19. I think it is a big mistake to keep the same monotone feel with this teaser trailer. Mix up the music, choices of words flashed on screen, etc....pretty much anything to catch the attention of the viewer.
