Young Justice 3/11
Nah, it's going to be Ms M hooking up with Aqualad and Artemis hooking up with Kid Flash and then they'll get their memories back and it'll be all embarrassing and stuff.

Tempus unum hominem manet
I don't think Aqualad will be in shape to hook up with anyone after six months in the desert.
Superboy taking out the tanks - Pretty much how I imagine my Brute acting when I have a high Fury bar and perma-Rage going.
Best line: "Stop touching yourself!"
Nice to see the whelmed joke returning.
ZOMG Boomtube!
Father, you were half-right.
It started off kind of slow, but really picked up. That was probably the best visual representation of a psychic battle I've ever seen.
Oh, and Boom Tube.
This show continues to to deliver on action, main character and plot development, and cameos.

A fantasy world of celluloid villains and heroes."
Miss Martian is just too cute. <3 Also, when was she in a cheerleader costume? That seemed to be thrown in there. Naturally, things have happened other than what we've seen, but that's kinda...random.
Let's see...Psimon, Boom Tube, whatever the roller thingie is, and hints of Artemis' past. Doesn't Ollie have an archer-nemesis?
Maybe they are showing episodes out of order. Not like that hasn't happen before. With Ms M disguised as a human strikes me as the team dropping in on Wally in school.
Well the amnesia + bickering couple = couple plot device have been used so often there's probably a TVTrope for it, just don't want to venture there to look for it (or I'll be lost in there forever).
The boom tube was a nice twist.

There are hints of Cassandra Cain in what little we've seen of Artemis' background. Dad who trained her to kill and might be a member of the League of Assassins, or whatever more kid-friendly name they might be using in its place. Merlyn in the main continuity was a member of the League of Assassins, so she she could be a kind of new version of Cassandra, if she had been Merlyn's daughter.

The psychic battle with Psimon wasn't bad. For a moment there, I was hopeful that Superboy was manifesting his telekinesis.
The boom tube hints at a potential future appearance of an awesome villain.
And it finally forced me to look up "whelm", which is apparently synonomous with "overwhelm"... so there's a kind of flammable/inflammable thing going on there.
Goodbye may seem forever
Farewell is like the end
But in my heart's the memory
And there you'll always be

Well, yeah. If she does turn out to be "what if the natural-bred assassin prodigy was Merlyn's daughter, rather than David Cain's?" it would be kinda dumb for her to actually be named Cassandra Cain.
Oh, and I went back and checked, and they're calling them the League of Shadows in Young Justice.
Edit: Just to be clear, I don't think that she's going to be exactly like Cassandra. There are already some pretty key differences, like Artemis being able to talk. What I think is that they're borrowing certain broad elements from Cassandra's backstory for Artemis.

I think the point was that "Artemis Crock" is an actual DC comics character, albeit an obscure one, not a character entirely made up for the series. The comics version (who uses a crossbow instead of a regular bow, and goes by the codename "Tigress") is the daughter of two villains, both of whom have appeared on the show (though her mother wasn't shown as a villain).
I had wondered why I hadn't seen Psimon in the comics for some time.
And then I remembered that he had his head repeatedly bashed in with a rock by the Joker.

POSSIBLE SPOILERS
Fans have been connecting the dots based on hints the writers have dropped in interviews and in the show itself.
That wasn't Ms. Martian, but a character from a sitcom, presumably titled 'Hello Megan!'. A snippit advertising the show can be heard on the TV playing in the background in Artemis' home in the episode Downtime
M'gann learned about Earth from watching old sitcoms, and patterned her looks and personality on the sitcom character Megan, right down to acting ditzy, baking cookies for her friends and using the "Hello Megan!" catchphrase constantly because she thinks that's how an "Earth girl" is supposed to act.
Presumably, Superboy spends some time watching TV at the HQ, has seen the show and has put two and two together. He may be the only one on the team who realizes where she gets it from and thus sees though her "act".
.
Her father is Sportsmaster, who was seen in the episode Drop Zone working with Kobra and the mysterious group of unseen villains.

Anyone else think the Sphere that Superboy rescued is going to be the equivalent of the Super-Cycle from the YJ comics? (Especially given where it seems to have come from, based on the ending scene of how it arrived in Bialya...)

If this show's Artemis is the daughter of two villains, then her mother is clearly retired due to being in that wheelchair, and doesn't seem to approve of the girl's extra-curricular activities, as she threatened to put a stop to it if Artemis didn't transfer to the fancy academy Batman arranged for her to attend.
I thought the cookies thing was because martians (especially the Martian Manhunter) love cookies?

Also, Superboy's favorite tv seems to be static. |
With Artemis' story being her shady origins, do you really think they'll do it with another one? |
Wasn't J'onn's original detective persona developed by watching tv? |

I'm just excited for any story involving the New Gods, but I expect it may be centered on the Forever People and Infinity Man.
Another good episode. Kid Flash cracks me up, "So i'm your ninja boyfriend?"
Something occurs to me...
Megan in the cheerleader outfit, with the laugh track? That might have been one of Artemis' memories. In the previous episode she was shown watching a sitcom called "Hello Megan" on a Nick-at-Nite-like television channel.
... could it be a hint that Megan, like her comics counterpart, is not entirely who she claims to be?
The theory has already been stated that she may have developed her earth persona from watching television and trying to emulate what she thinks is a typical teenage girl.
I believe Miss Martian did have a line early in the episode about how Earth doesn't look like it did on TV.

"Bereft - The team wanders a desert with no memories of the last six months."
Okay now that sounds like an interesting episode.
