My wife and I once had a picnic lunch on the fwd missile doors on one of those while it was under way. Long story.
I served on a Burke DDG as an AEGIS tech myself, so that jumped out at me pretty quickly. It would also be cool to see the Phalanx guns on there as well. The CIWS guys were part of our division, we got shifted from combat to weps for some reason, and they decided to redo the nonskid on the platforms the guns sat on shortly after I reported to the ship. Of course being the most junior person in the division I was picked to go help them out. Spending hours in the Norfolk sun with a needlegun scaler is not fun. I think my arms kept vibrating for days.

That's probably the boat that takes you to the other side of IP on a scenic tour.
Wonder if it's full of sea men.

What, someone had to do it.

Sorry to nitpick but being ex-navy I'm obligated to point out that there's no space between seamen.

Double entendre FTW.

Shouldn't it be 'Seapersons' to be Politically Correct?

Our mysterious ship also appeared in the COH Facebook page. Here's a closeup on the screen:

It seems to be on an instanced mission (see all the objectives in the compass) near a structure with a lot of radio antennas on top.

Edit: after playing with brightness/contrast on the mission title a lot, my best guess is that it says "Investigate the Praetorian base overseas". The original picture is in Facebook here.

Maybe we join a fleet to attack a loyalist forward base out at sea? Or maybe we have to stop loyalists from sabotaging a fleet?

EDIT: I so totally called the offshore Praetorian base

What IP really needs is a direct ferry to PI

What IP and Nerva both need is a way to the other end of the zone.

I'm not sure but it looks like this guy is warming up to eat his burger by practicing the burger to mouth motion over and over. Sort of like stretching before you do your pilates.

No. It's actually the US Naval enlisted ranks for deck and administrative ratings and has nothing to do with political correctness.

I wonder if that desk is the cleanest desk in Paragon Studios. It just seems abnormally tidy.

Think of it as the Nova Praetoria of Paragon Studios desks - you can't see what's going on beneath the sterile exterior.

Can't speak for IP, but on the I20 Sneak Peek, the Black Helicopter now has Nerva North (just south of the Longbow Base) and Nerva South (existing place) as well as Grandville North (South Side of the Fab) and South (existing place).

The offshore Praetorian base also fits in with an earlier suggestion I made for higher level loyalist stormtrooper content based around trying to sabotage the Primal Earth war effort against Tyrant.
An offshore base, if it was big enough, could be an actual island zone, used for both a raid setting for us to fight the Praetorians, but also as the setting for higher level loyalists contacts - like it could be the next stage of the Praetorian jounrey - at 20 you go to primal Earth, but at, say, 30, stormtroopers could be contacted by Tyrant and sent to the offshore base/island to disrupt the opposition to the invasion.

I was joking. I personally find Political correctness bloody stupid and useless about...oo...all the time? Due to the people who insist on it being the same idiots that bleat on along the lines of "Won't somebody please think of the children?!" when the kids could do with a damn good clout and being sent outside in the fresh air...

Yes, Im English. Im 19. And I'm a bloody old man already!

While I was aware you were teasing me I wasn't sure if you knew about the names of our naval enlisted ranks which can get confusing. There are 5 basic ratings

Seaman - Deck and Admin
Airman - Aviation
Fireman - Engineering
Hospitalman - Medical/Dental (In 2005 the Dental rating was merged with the medical rating)
Constructionman - Seabees

I hoped you might find it a useless but interesting piece of trivia.

Maybe he is trying to eat the burger via the jedi way.

I was meaning more from the point of view that if the area between the battleship, the hosptial and Statesman's ship was turned into a sort of Longbow/military area, then having brawling Tsoo and Family inside the compound might be a bit silly
very true Looking forward to some sweet textures on that spiffy ship!
