If we HAVE to got an Incarnate power to summon buffs pets, that should be:
    A tailor customizable pet or
A mirror of our current avatar, using current doppelganger tech.
Summoning a doppleganger is a great idea, and ties in with the idea of protecting the Multiverse.
  2. The Flames of Prometheus threatened with theft by villains? Nooooooooo! They have been part our Hero SG's background for years. The Intrepids will stand alongside of Positron and The Midnighters to protect this sacred relic, whose loss could spell disaster for the world!

(Maybe we can get some of our Heroes turned into npc's in the SF missions? pretty please? )
  3. Congratulations to the winners! Looks like the judging would have been very difficult.

    My own entry was http://trollking.deviantart.com/art/...ntry-199107767
  4. Alternate animations for all Archetypes through use of added weapons/items to their Costume creation. Staffs, wands, rifles, pistols, amulets, tech gadgets etc. that can be held and used as a powers 'point of origin.'
  5. Time Bomb would be better replaced in my opinion with a triggerable bomb. Place, then a second activation of the power makes it explode (with different tray icon) with recharge of power being based off when the bomb was placed.
  6. Maybe its a new Taskforce to attack the island fortress of the mad scientist, Dr Moreau, after he releases the Animal Pack on the world.
  7. The LFG 'Turnstile' system for trials strikes me as possibly a little open for griefers - join the que, wait til trial starts, quit the trial. Though on the plus side, the CoH community seems to have very few such individuals in my experience so far.

Will those who que up together on teams go to the same trial instance? Can a team leader add (with maybe a yes/no option appearing for all team members) his team to the que?

    Rule of 5

Simply put, you may only benefit from a maximum of any five identical set bonuses of a given value from enhancements. So if you happen to have seven +5% Recharge bonuses from sets slotted bonus lists, two of those would not count.

Different values stack together. So for example you could have five +5% Recharge, five 7.5% Recharge, and five 10% Recharge bonuses which would still stack together.

Bonuses from special enhancements such as a Luck of the Gamblers +7.5% Recharge(all) count separately, so you could have five of those as well as five 7.5% Recharge from a sets slotted bonus list.

    Children

Due to the ongoing Rikti war and now the Praetorian war, maybe they've all been shipped off to safer climates.

Or the Rikti Monkeys are... no, that would be just silly... wouldn't it... ?...
  10. Fooled a few people (myself included!) - you can scroll down further and there are recipes for each combination of rares to create very rare enhancements.
  11. Took a while to get her on STF I was on this morning, but by melee's running/jumping past her for some hits when she wasn't held, and attacking for 15-20 seconds and pulling back when she was held, we eventually took her down. Took 10 or so clear minds stacked up to ward off that nasty hold of hers.
  12. Seeing the same, and longer mapserver loading times. Seems laggy in general. Also crashed 4 times in a row during a Mothership Raid - likely rare alpha slot related from another player though the character I brought to raid was only level 48.
  13. Gorilla heads. Rhino heads.

More animalized-looking human heads rather than (or in addition to) full anthropomorphized animal heads. Sort of like Noble Savages feline features as well as the new cheetah head.

    Tufts of fur for shoulders/gloves/boots/chest.

New animal sound/roar emotes. Meow. Wroof. Hsssss. BARK-BARK-BARK.
  14. Lord Nemesis should have his own styled building interiors. The only base we see is in the Shadow Shard. Hi-tech/science maps don't really match up to his troops style.

There was a Tip mission for an Automaton Factory I got recently which uses the mission map for the Clockwork King's in Synapses Taskforce, which disappointed me when I got into the mission.

Steam coming out of pipes, partly built automatons and jaegers, 'empty' warhulks. Brass plating, elaborately decorated machinery, electrical spheres and sparking cables. Troop barracks and shooting ranges.

Something more suited to the vaunted genius of the this Arch-Villain.
  15. Of course Nemesis is serious. Everything is a Nemesis plot!

Take all those 'average citizens' walking the streets. Is it chance that if you try speaking to one whose name begins with F they always give you the time of day? Or if their name happens to begin with G how many heroes are currently in the same area as you? and so on!

I think a good quarter of the population has been replaced with Automatons! Why, if you... hang on, someone at the door.

(Hey - you look just like m-*sounds of a scuffle*)

Sorry about that, they had the wrong address. Anyway, come on, seriously, not EVERYTHING is a Nemesis plot.
  16. Some quick idea's (which may have already been suggested.)

A Courthouse. For a mission or event, the steps up to the entrance would be great for a scene of reporters, camera's, press photographers, with news vans with satellite dishes and police cordon below, as a Family mob-boss (or other ne'er-do-well) flanked by lawyers makes his way into/out of court.

We've got bus shelters, but no buses? A bus station for the general public (and buses on the road too.) More varied traffic would look good as well. Taxis, trucks, the odd police or SWAT van (otherwise they only ever seem to be parked up.) An overturned truck that was carrying toxic chemicals (probably Crey Industries) or a Prison bus escape attempt might make the basis of a good event too.

A Chinatown district/zone. Would be great place for the Tsoo to hang out.

A Fire Station. Like Samuel_Tow, I wonder if Paragon City really does rely just on passing heroes to put out all the fires (and rescue cats from trees)?

A Mall or shopping precinct. This I imagine would be a kind of 'open interior' with shop fronts and elevator stairs / glass lifts.
  17. Hmm, this does fit. Without the Rikti invasion, the War Walls were never built, so when Hamidon changed to his current state he wasn't contained, and easily spread across the world, leading to the Hamidon Wars of Praetorian Earth.
  18. With alternate animations becoming available, possibly there could be alternate animations available for Fly, Superjump, Superspeed and Teleport.

The various veteran Sprint Prestige powers could also be bundled into a single Sprint power (alternate animation choices for Surge, Dash, Quick, Rush and Slide) for those who gain them - allowing you to recolour as well (no pink-cloud only Slide for example!)

Fly could have tech hoverboards, floating crystalline discs, fixed-wing and other various designs of jetpacks (we know Jay loves creating those! ), rocket belts, broomsticks...

Superjump could have you turn into an electrical ball arcing up into the sky and back to earth, jump-packs, rocket-flares under your feet...

Superspeed could have similar alternate animations to the veteran Sprint powers, a more Flash-esque run with ghost images trailing behind you...

Teleport could have you jumping into a vortex, sinking into and rising out of the earth, disappearing/reappearing in the flash of a smokebomb...

Costume pieces could be worn which automatically assign alternate animations - if you wear a jetpack, then your flight/superjump will be changed to represent that jetpacks use.
  19. Simply, EB's and AV's belonging to each hero/villain group to match current Boss-type mobs, for Mission Architect.

So for example you could create an Elite Boss or Arch-villain ranked Warhulk for the main protaganist in a Nemesis story. Maybe these would need extra powers added, to suit their new rank.

I would also like to see more maps (and some of the removed maps fixed and returned of course.)

'Mini'-maps based off of zone maps: an oil-rig map (using a small section of Siren's call), a beach-head from around Grandville, a building site from Faultline, etc.
  20. hmm, climbing plants and/or wooden frames for walls, an actual earth tileset for the floor and trees/plants without pots, flowering bushes...

Could even add things like planted giant venus mantraps, thorny vines, and suchlike for a villainous Garden of Doom.

    More base items/styles overall, yes!

  21. How about an additonal xp reduction depending on how many levels you gain from an MA's auto-sk? The closer you are to the minimum level, the lower that xp reduction will be.
  22. Some very nice designs guys!

Slow field 'Water' effect is something I'm trying to use with dirt piles to create a stream at the moment across a room, with a bridge over it (floated off a wall)

Lycon, I especially like the stone heads and resurrectors, and your teleporter room. Great work.
  23. Apart from the lowering some teleporter beacons to make them easier to see for finding the right teleporter pad, wondering what others have come up with in their base designing at the moment.

Here is my first real trial with the changes currently in the I13 base editor...

  24. Thanks guys, and good luck with your interview
  25. I need some reference pics of Mea Culpa, Grizz, Noddy, and Commish for an Epic Moments gag. Please get me some screenies of your characters guys

(In regular costumes, please! No Ninja Noddy with faerie wings and in swimming trunks, for example )
