Yep, and I'm not much of a Wolverine fan, but I enjoyed that one. Maybe it's because I've always liked Frank Miller.

Not at all. I liked it. I just know it could of been so much better with very little effort.

This. Wolverine has many ties to Japan over the years of his life, and in modern times he was in love with Mariko Yashida, who was related to the mutant villain Silver Samurai.

They were going to be married but the wedding was aborted, I think due to the mutant villain Mastermind's interference.

Mariko is currently dead last I checked, but it's been awhile.

So this plot sounds like it is based on Wolverine's love for Mariko.

I have my priorities for this movie.

All Japanese women in the film must be smoking hot.

Interesting...

The amount of dedication, knowledge of correct eating habits, workout routines, proper equipment needed is a bit out of my reach at this point in time..There is also a bit of genetics involved in whether or not I could reach his level of fitness with MORE or less effort then he has taken.

Becoming THAT physically fit doesn't just involved "some training".. it takes A LOT of time, money and effort.

Or at all. Seriously, there's gonna be some geek card revocations in this thread!

I thought was alright up till the mind wipe bullets. (how in the world would striker know it would do that?) That as easily the worst idea of the film. I mean Wolverine already had a backstory covering how Weapon x screwed up his mind that made more sense. ( on top of the whole his mind heals over bad memories bit.) I could have forgiven the majority of the film besides that. I get they wanted to squeeze everything into the film, but this wasn't how to do it.

Origin started out ok. It really only fell apart when they deviated too far from the comics... the X-Men cameos, Frankenpool, mind wipe bullet.

Weight training: Because you'll never hear someone lament "If only I were weaker, I could have saved them."

Very true. For 6,000 Calories a day he's training like an Olympic athlete. You couldn't physically do it if you had a day job AND tried training the same way. That kind of training is a day job.
