Post-i19 Ninja run guides?

More specifically, are their any written guides concerning turning ninja run into a proper movement power, and if so, are they up-to-date concerning inherent fitness, since I know Hurdle/Swift/Sprint/Lightning Reflexes/Quickness is a big part of making it work.

I'm looking to find out how much slotting is needed where.

Seems fine to me with just a run DO each in Sprint and Swift.

Base slot in Sprint, Swift and Hurdle. Add LR/Quickness with base slot if you have access to either.

If it's to be your actual travel power (regardless of Super Reflexes), going with two SO/IOs each in Swift & Hurdle is the way to go - it'll get you to 55-60mph, roughly, for both run and jump speeds and, IIRC, around 40ft jump height.

I'll write a guide, my first one.

Step 1: Toggle on Ninja run
Step 2 (optional): Toggle on sprint or prestige power slide or whatever you use
Step 3: Run and jump around!

Global = Hedgefund (or some derivation thereof)

THIS GUIDE SUKS!!

You didn't even include a sample build (with Purple IOs and hardcapped everything)

Agreed.
That guide needs some sample builds. Also descriptions of slotting to hit the run speed and jump speed caps. And a pony. A pretty, pretty pony.

Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...

Two in each seems slightly excessive, Ninja run with 1 level 50 IO in swift, according to mids, puts you at 41.5 MPH, a second puts you at 43.6 (a second IO in Sprint will do more then a second IO in Swift). Ninja run and a single IO in Hurdle 59.3 MPH jump speed and 41.7 ft with the second, 66.6 MPH and 44.4 ft.

Obviously there's some debate and some number crunching involved(however small) to get it up to a full level in a tight build so I figured I'd ask. thanks much all.

Just loaded up one of my characters. Level 23 Corruptor, 1 L25 SO in each Swift and Hurdle, Sprint (no run enhancement) and Ninja Run on...

Running Speed: 51.19mph
Jumping Speed: 54.95mph
Jump Height: 34.55ft.

So my numbers in my previous post are probably a bit off. So are yours/Mids', however.

My /SR scrapper uses elude to hit the runspeed cap (for a short while). Don't use that power for much else, honestly.

Don't see how you can come to the conclusion that mids is wrong given we used different level IOs, on different level characters and included different powers, and I wasn't trying to say your numbers were incorrect, only provide number which the OP could compare and make an informed decision. If I include unslotted Sprint that pushes it to 55.8 mph run speed, 59.3 mph jump speed and 41.7 ft jump hight with one level 50 IO in Swift and Hurdle. 2 Slotting them gets 57.9 mph run speed, 66.6 mph jump speed and 44.4 ft jump hight.

in a tight build, why waste slots on getting from A to B marginally faster.

In any build, why waste slots doing that marginally faster?

With ninja run I barely take travels any more, if im doing an MO, ill just hover there instead!

I might be able to squeeze some set bonuses out of Sprint/quickness/Lightning reflexes I might be concerned with being able to get ffrom here and there and taking movement into consideration when making my "tight" build and might even be part of what makes it so.

The best bang for your buck, if you plan on investing one extra slot into getting more speed out of Ninja Run is to add a slot to sprint. Sprint has the highest base speed increase out of all the powers you can slot. That means you get a larger MPH return per enhancement then you would with a extra slot in LR or swift.

This seems a lot like using a flamethrower where a simple match would be enough.
