Speculation and Hopes for the Animal Booster
Quote:
You must have just had an evil horse - they're not usually selfish creatures
As for horses being evil, I owned one for 15 years and they ARE evil. You love them, and they come to love you. But they're evil, as in completely and totally self-interested. This makes sense from the horse's point of view, true; you as the owner work around their deadly self-interest and this is what makes owning them fascinating.
That, and their beauty. But they're evil, not least to your bank account. Bring money. A horse'll cost you plenty. |

I want to second that one. JUST animal heads are great, but if we're able to put hair on them, even if it's just one or two hairstyles per head, then this would be AMAZING.
I hope we can put hairstyles on those animal heads...
Maybe not all but some, or even some wild oriented new ones. The eagle head may not fit with hairstyles but the cheetah head is crying for hair. I love Thundercats, a Cheetarah homage would be nice. |
I wonder if we'll ever see Frozen Fire's suggestion of separate snouts and animal eyes as face details for normal heads. That'd open a whole slew of concepts.

I have: Baaa!
Something's not right here.
That seems less like Bad Horse's Terrible Death Whinny(tm) and more akin to Samurai Sheep's Battle Bleat(tm).
Still, it isn't EXACTLY like that battle bleat.... its a good replication.... not just some cheap knockoff decoy. That had to have been done by one heckuva major decoy.
Edit: Guess it could have been Ronin Ram's Bushido Bleat.... they're tough to tell apart, and neither's backing down from their trademark lawsuit.

Oh, I forgot something I have wished for in the past...
Gorilla gloves!
Amazing Ape's arms look best when he has his gauntlets on. It would be cool to have that kind of bulk in the hands and forearms with hair/fur and such!

A back piece that lets us use Arachnoid legs would be keen since some of us use insect/arachnid motifs. Maybe a big scorpion tail and claws too.

anyhow. my main hope is for arm, head side and (if theya re really cool) some sort of "hair" like set of fins for characters. beyond that, if i recall the thread made right after the mutant pack seemsed to show a lot of preference for a new feline head with various fur variations and a possible mane. also bull and bear parts were strongly suggested, as well as a few votes for gorilla costume stuff. now given precedent we get between 2-3 full sets per super booster, so im expecting bird, since we already saw its head and feet, feline, and one wildcard either bull, bear or gorilla. of those, gorilla is a common comic book thing, bull we kind of have in minotaurs, so it might be less work, and bears fit just for popularity, thematic mix witha native american hero, and the side colbert nod. now if they are going for non-full costume pieces, then im really hoping that the fins make it in, they have been LONG requested.
as an aside, usually boosters contian some long awaited "gimmick" thing that we have wanted for a while. the two that come to mind, though i am not guessing either would be a run molded after the tier 2 demons for monster characters or fingertip claws. both of those seem to have possible reasons for technical infeasibility, but who knows at this point?
i am concerned that someone mentioned seeing cheetahs. i am worried that if they include them, they wont make any money..

i'd expect tentacle limbs and mouthparts to part of a "Monster Pack" if they ever get added at all. i think the currently hypothetical Animal Booster will be a selection of fairly realistic animal heads, feet, and textures. Hopefully more animal foot boot models for non-digitigrade legs. Possibly some details like antlers. i expect that if a new power comes with the pack it will be at least as useful as Shadowy Presence. (Incidentally, has anyone found a use for Shadowy Presence? Even as a way to show off the non combat pets have more versatility.)
Dr. Todt's theme.
i make stuff...
Heck, I'll take all the boosts I can get.
I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.
Here's hoping for some massive furry shoulder pads

Yes, an attractive, aesthetically-pleasing, noble-looking dragon head. Like that one.
