I don't really have any toons that fit this style at the moment but I definitely like your work! I'll have to see if I have a toon that could use some anime-ification! Oh and I'd love to take a whack at coloring some of your lines. I've been teaching myself, so don't expect anything great. Especially not as good as what you've already got going on with the elf...

A little background, so you can understand the request-She was inspired by the character of Ryoko from Tenchi Muyo! (although she has long since pulled away from her roots..). I've always envisioned her with the Ryoko hair (long and spikey), but with pointed ears.

And yes, she does have the demon ears....

Also, while Rio (her nickname) wears two uniforms, the red and black is the one she is seen in most often.

Hiya Talley, and welcome to the best part of the CoH forum I'm a little surprised by the way you said you have an anime style of art as if in a negative way. Personally I really like anime style art and from that sample you've posted above i'd say you do it very well, hope to see some more from you.

You've also just given me a great tip. I'm just entering into the world of digital colouring, infact, just doing my first colour now. That little swatch you've painted of the colours your blending with so they're easy to pick up with the colour picker is a great idea. Maybe everyone does this, but i've never seen it before... see, really is my first colouring attempt

As to submitting a character for you to have a muse over, i'm a real robot fan, a fact i'm finding a lot of artists aren't too keen on, lol. So i won't post any of them. I do have my newest character tho, The Sub Zero Man, earth/ice dom (hero). I was lucky enough to have a sketch done by Lady Cyrsei of his 'Iced' version, but i've never had a sketch of him de-iced, hope he's of interest

Lady Arete: She is a sorceress that has tapped into the powers of a phoenix. She is learned, skilled, serious... (if you want more info look at the sig (big bio though))


Or my little Cyrene:
A young mutant at daytime she goes by the heroine name Cyrene. Normally she has her civil (hidden) identity, but she also goes by the stage-name "The Siren" when she sings in the clubs (Talk about hiding in plain sight here)
The green outfit is more to signify what she will mutate into (sorta dryad).
The other is her normal heroine outfit.
