This gets run every week blue and redside by at least one person and probably others. Are you in the more popular teaming globals? You should be able to catch xeaon forming these on Sundays, IIRC.

As i said on another thread, I try not to make this a scheduled Event. Well as far as I am concerned. If other ppl willing to make an official (or pseudo official) Virtue event... then ill be happy to do my share.
Anyways, since i18 came out i ran 1+ CoP a week, most of the time on Sunday night, after the Red side Hamid, or later on the night.
Last week we did it on Friday at 8pm EST, Red sidee then Blue side. And i havent done any on Sunday. I think Arky did led one that Sunday.
If you need the badge, ill be more then happy to help. We could find a schedule that work for both of us. I can normaly yell enought to my sg/vg mates to find 2 others to help lead it. (only need 3 fomr the same vg/sg).

Yes, there was another "looking for CoP" thread that went around last week. A bunch of people, including myself, were able to finally get the badge thanks to xeaon!

Last week, someone was griefing in Indy port about that....
Maybe it was you or someone else.
And that after we said countless times,
"Teams are almost full, we are looking for some specific AT's to balance them..."
If you get in zone late, you could miss lot of the earlier chats.
Also there is a lot of noize over chats, ppl talking in broadcast, locals, etc.
And last points, the team leaders, just focus on there task, If you already have a migraine, trying to fix the teams, and someone just get in zone and complain they have no clue what is going on, you answer once, then you move on.
On that specific occasion, i remember clearly we answered the person (who i forgot the name). My team was full, and was having an hard time getting a feed back from from my 2 other team captains, as they had ppl alting, and they were not sure, what they lacked, or if they were full or not... all taht inside 10min.... as we filled fast.
If ppl cant wait 10min in zone for those event to form, there is an issue somewhere.

Haha, yeah i remember taking 45min to form, 15min to run.
And that not counting the time we loose in base, cause one guy AFK, that other guy dc'ed, and I take ages to give instructions, :P
Blue side been forming real fast lately, even Red side.
I think ppl have more interest, because of the shards reward, and also because, the days, CoP was hard and fail after fail (when it was bugged shortly after i18) are long gone.

AS I'm done work for the year this Friday I might try and get in on a few runs on both sides. I already belong to too many pointless channels though. Is there one or two that traditionally announce when you start forming?

yeah when my coalition ran it, I had......prior events that needed to be taken care of out of game, so I missed it.

He then went immediately into LFG Alpha and started whining there, which prompted me mentioning in VU that the complexities of dealing with the "public" on a highly in-demand raid like the CoP may result in some loss of communication and that you should get over yourself if you're spazzing out about it. And that it's particularly relevant if you're not involved in organizing the event and having to deal with the dozens of lines of communication all flooding in.
That above is part of the reason I've never had the patience to try and get organized runs of the CoP despite having several SG members/Global friends that would be more than happy to help lead and what-not. Fatheads with bad attitudes and entitlement issues like "that guy" make the events less than enjoyable to organize.

have you ever led the CoP or at least led one of the teams?
i've led one of the teams on several occasions
just to let you know....it sucks
at times, there are several conversations going on in channels along with responding to tells
i've never led the whole thing myself, but would think that it would be even more crazy
As far as picking the teams:
if only one spot remains on my team and the team is already balanced
and if 3 people who want in on the CoP zone at same time and i don't know any of them
i will pick the one with the best -regen debuffs
so to be safe, if you haven't been told you have a spot and really want to join CoP, you might want to bring that rad or cold or whatever else you have that has -regen

Unfortunately I just re-upped my subscriptions after the free weekend a couple months ago. From what I hear VirtueUnited is full, so I am stuck with VU2010 until something changes.
Does anyone still run this? Does everyone who could possibly want the badge have the badge already? Does everyone who needs the Penumbra just choose to buy it with Shards? Should I have gotten it while the getting was good (and the nukes weren't disallowed)?
