Yes to all above. It sounded like the person politely asked you a perfectly legitimate question. Even if you didn't actually have the Helper title, I admit I'm a little saddened that you ignored the person at first, simply because they were not on your team or on your friends list. If helping perfect strangers just isn't your thing, you should seriously consider removing that label. The player who told you to do so was right, in my opinion.
  2. As another Roleplayer from Virtue, I too am hoping there will be a decent RP Community of some kind on Exalted. Would love to see if any new RP Supergroups are recruiting!
  3. Do we need to do anything special to join Virtue TFs 2010? I just tried, but it said that it was a private channel. Global name is @PsychicAngel.
  4. Good luck with all that! When you turn 20, I have a toon that's trying to go Vigilante as well. I'll drop you a note and see where you're at. Maybe we can run some tips together.
  5. Yes, there was another "looking for CoP" thread that went around last week. A bunch of people, including myself, were able to finally get the badge thanks to xeaon!
  6. Many thanks, Xeaon, for leading us through both red and blue side CoP trials! That was easily the best organized trial I've ever seen anyone conduct in all the years I've played this game since early launch! Superb job! Thanks for the badges!
  7. I see people advertising for them at least once every 10 minutes on the "Virtue TFs 2010" global channel. At least since I19 hit.
  8. 8PM is fine by me. I'm actually already on!
  9. I just want the badges for my blue and red mains. See you guys tonight!
  10. Tonight would be perfect! Just tell me when and where and I'll be there!
  11. If you guys end up doing it Friday night or Sunday night, that would be super for me! (Saturday, I won't be able to log onto the game. And I leave the country for a month the following weekend.) Are you guys planning on doing the CoP blueside, redside, or both?
  12. Absolutely LOVE it! I was pleasantly surprised to see that the Incarnate Shard drops occurred far more often than I anticipated. Even while soloing. Yes teaming and doing TFs will get you the needed Incarnate components faster, but to me that's pretty much a given. Keep in mind that in the Incarnate system's earliest stages there didn't even exist a way to get your Incarnate slotted through purely solo content. So I think it's wonderful the devs added that option to cater to the solo players.

Considering that for many issues, all the "new content" tended to be for low to mid levels, I think it's great that the "end game" content is getting a good bit of love. Regardless of whether or not it's your thing (I'm personally indifferent towards it), more end game content is something that many players have been clamoring for. So I'm happy they're finally getting it and in general seem to be happy with the results. And I doubt it will be the ONLY thing the devs will focus on from here on out.

And as much as people like to knock it, AE has always been my answer for "never-ending" content. Since that came onto CoX, I've never really worried about running out of new content. And I'm not referring to the farming/exploitable AE missions. Contrary to popular belief, there are indeed some VERY GOOD story arcs in there - many in my opinion are just as good, if not better, than the standard CoX content. As long as you take advantage of its intended use, I don't see why it wouldn't be a viable option for those who wish for more content regardless of your level. Just my opinion!
  13. I would very much be interested as well. Please contact @PsychicAngel if you could, please. Thank you so much!

    What Colors....

I've been dying to make a "pastry chef" hero (or villain) and finally can utilize Spectrum to alter Storm powers for the theme.

    - A pink Hurricane becomes his Giant Cotton Candy Swirl!
    - Brown freezing rain becomes a Chocolate Shower
    - A pure white Snowstorm becomes Powdered Sugar Storm
    - A yellow Whirlwind becomes Yellow Cake Batter Blender
    - An orange Steamy Mist becomes Orange Soda Fizz
    - And a white and brown Lightning Storm becomes an Electrically Toasted Marshmallow (a stretch, but still fun)

Now I just have to decide which other powerset to go with it thematically (and thus determine which AT).

    It's pretty simple.

Both kicking and punching is all in the mind.

If you want to test them, I'm sure you'll find

The things you teach'a, are sure to beat'cha.

    Never-the-less they'll get a lesson from teacha.

...And, second, my complaint is that this is being doled out to only *some* of the population. ...

Your total premise is without logic. <ul type="square">[*]VRs are for EVERY player.[*]Like most rewards, you simply have to earn them first.
And EVERY player does.[*]VRs are the easiest reward in the game. Just keep paying and playing.
and EVERY player just keeps getting them.[*] VRs are the FAIREST reward in the game.
    You can't buy them;
You can't PL to get them.
You can't cheat to get them.
and EVERYone gets them at the same milestones in their CoX playing life.
[*]EVERY one gets the VRs. every 3 months like clockwork, everyone gets the next VR in sequence.
No have/have-nots. just not-have---YET.[/list]Perfectly equal, perfectly fair.
If you want fairness, . . . The oldest vets, did not get their FIRST VR ... for over TWO years. If you want fairness, should new vets have to wait two years for their first VRs?

EVERY player is a Veteran.. of a certain number of months. The VRs are for EVERY player, each as soon as it is earned. . . . and every player is earning them, every 3 months.

  17. My main villain happens to be a Fire/Psy Dominator. She was the very first villain I rolled and I absolutely love her!!!! Great job on the guide so far! Can't wait to see the final draft.
  18. WOOT! Happy Birthday to us!

I'm a fairly new member too, and it's been a blast since the first time Psychic Demon started hitting on all the "shexy men." Congratulations, everyone on such a fine year!!

Okay, am I the only one wishing there was an emote that set all the thugs in formation with me, and then we all did the "Beat It" dance?

    [/ QUOTE ]

Well if they let you do that with thugs, then they BETTER have an emote for Undead MM that lets your henchmen get into formation and do the "Thriller" dance!

Skills - Not coming. Ever. They tried 9 different systems and couldn't find a fun one.

    [/ QUOTE ]

I'm reeeeeally curious as to what each of the 9 different actual systems were. And why did they think every one of them wasn't "fun." I wish they would tell us somehow, because they may end up being pleasantly surprised how much "fun" some of those options may actually be to the players' point of view.
  21. For the longest time, I avoided monthly subscription MMORPGs like the plague. But since I started playing CoH 2 months after its realease, I have never gone back. Thank you, devs, for showing me the error of my ways! O;-)

(wishing) Um, I don't suppose guys will be getting any of the shorts from the females "shorts and shirts" options?

    [/ QUOTE ]

I agree! Shorts and sneakers have been on my wish list for the male costumes for quite some time now!
  23. I really could care less that defenders are shaing their powersets with blasters and controllers. That allows for more customization amongst AT"s, which I think is very good. Sure unique powersets would be nice, but I honestly don't see why people are getting bent out of shape over them.

And the whole balance issue: "This powerset is stronger than this powerset. Why would anyone use this powerset? It's the weakest of the bunch!" I've never played this game with the mindset of making the most "uber" build, or choose powersets because I thought it was the most powerful or "the flavor of the month." (Heck, my primary uses Psychic Blast.)

I choose my powers because it fits with my character and I have fun simply playing the game. With every issue or "nerf" that comes around, I honestly have never had any major gripes or problems with them. Quite the contrary, I actually enjoy the game even more with every issue that comes by. And it's been that way for me consistently for the past year. Perhaps I'm in the minority, but I just wanted to let the devs know that there are those of us who genuinely enjoy what each issue has brought to the table.

May the Heavens smile upon you, fellow heroes! O;-)
