Thanks to everyone involved in this channel. I know most of you don't post much (other than maybe xeaon and Arky) but you are the best players that I have had the pleasure of knowing. Not only does everyone seem to have the best builds possible, but everyone was so much fun when tearing apart the best CoH had to offer.
Mono, Ghost, Frosted O's, Thing, HH, Ara, JD, Gems, Inviso, Beo, X, Advo and all the others, thanks for letting me take part. I will miss you and the game.

Hello all,
I'm a vet of 6 1/2 years. There were no interruptions in my subscription during that time, yet in-game display shows only 5 year badge.
Is this a known bug?
Thanks in advance -
If tired of fire, sonic is good for av's
IMO, cold is the best after traps for av's
So with choices that you have left, try sonic/cold
Haven't tried that combo, but should be great for what you are looking for -
Grats Fifty and BZ
just saw the time of 24 min, very nice -
Ohhh, and great event
i had a blast on my one try
and thanks for hosting -
Thank you, TwoHeadedBoy, for your response and build. I am happy to take any advice i can get. Will be playing around some more with the build today at work.

Hello all,
Looking forward to a new challenge so i made a WS. This is close to the build that i have now that works ok. Since I feel like a WS noob, I would appreciate any suggestions. Respecing it to take advantage of the third tier spiritual that I just slotted. As far as IOs, cost is not an issue.
Thanks in advance.

Just looking for other ways to throw around play money -
Hello all,
was just wondering, have the devs ever spoken as to if the damage from pseudo-pets powers counts in getting better rewards in trials?
reason why i ask is that on my first 3 characters that i got to +3, i usually got rares and only one common on 50+ runs
now i'm playing a fire/cold corrupter, i'm using pseudo-pets such as sleet and RoF
but i've gotten 4 commons in a row (in 8 runs total-6 commons, 1 rare, and 1 very rare)
i understand the the rewards are based on participation and a random element, but don't think that i'm playing any different than on my first 3 characters
not here to complain, in fact, i'm aware i was very lucky to get the good rewards on the other characters
just wondering if i should be changing my tactics to get better rewards even though sleet and RoF do great damage especially with the Reactive Interface slotted
thanks in advance -
try RWZ
i've been on trials from rwz, cim, pocket D, and midnighters
from what i've seen, rwz seems to have the most forming -
welcome to the fun world of fire/fire blasters
mine is one of my favorite 3 characters
as far as power choices, i went for a blapping style so i built for s/l def
i like getting Mace Mastery and fighting pool to help achieve soft cap
there is probably room for improvement but here is my current build with 4th tier alpha incarnate:

the glad armor proc is not needed, just need to slot maneuvers to achieve soft-cap
i don't normally run maneuvers because of the end drain, just took fighting pool to put in the 2 extra LoGs -
locked out too
so those of us that are locked out can't play until tomorrow after the patch?
or is there a way around this? (excuse me if that sounds ignorant, i am ignorant about most things) -
hello all,
finally got around to making a traps defender
was wondering about the best way to slot Acid Mortar and Poison Trap
was planning:
Acid Mortar-achilles proc, shield breaker proc, lady grey proc, then 3 slots for frankeslotting to get acc and recharge
Poison Trap-4 slot basilik gaze, recharge io, and unbreakable constraint proc
any suggestions?
thanks in advance -
Fire/fire is easily one of my most enjoyable alts
It can get pretty intense at times
Play mine as blapper
If you have plenty of influence, you can soft cap your def and be an aoe killing machine that is far from being squishy against most mobs
Have fun -
thanks for the quick reply
it answers my question perfectly -
Hey all,
just wondering, if i go above the def soft-cap of 45, will that help against tougher foes?
my understanding is that even if you are at def of 45, bosses/EBs/AVs have a greater than 5% chance of hitting you, and their chance is based on level and other various buffs they have
If i go against a level 54 AV, will having a def of 50 (rather than 45) lower their chance of hitting me?
thanks in advance -
Quote:i wasn't there for that CoP, but i just got to askI don't know if it was yours or someone else's that I was trying to get in on before, but I would like to throw up one small bit for people organizing them- if you've gotten to a point in organizing it where you're only taking specific ATs/roles, could you *let people know*? A whole bunch of people and I were just sort of quietly ignored while the teams sought ought the remaining buffers they needed. I could have saved myself around half an hour of trouble if anyone involved had just said they didn't need any more damage.
have you ever led the CoP or at least led one of the teams?
i've led one of the teams on several occasions
just to let you know....it sucks
at times, there are several conversations going on in channels along with responding to tells
i've never led the whole thing myself, but would think that it would be even more crazy
As far as picking the teams:
if only one spot remains on my team and the team is already balanced
and if 3 people who want in on the CoP zone at same time and i don't know any of them
i will pick the one with the best -regen debuffs
so to be safe, if you haven't been told you have a spot and really want to join CoP, you might want to bring that rad or cold or whatever else you have that has -regen
hope to see you at the next one
it is a lot of fun once the CoP actually starts -
this is my i19 build
running at 48.2% s/l def and 197.5% recharge

my power choices may be unusual including not having fireblast but i find i don't miss it with a high recharge build
i didn't take Hot Feet or Incinerate since i'm not in melee that much
and for your request of perma-hoarfrost, i've found that i don't need it, although it would be nice to have
hope this build gives you some ideas -
got a 50 fire/fire/ice as one of my mains
got the build on my work computer
can try to post tomorrow
biggest thing in your build that i noticed is the lack of recharge in sleet, would put 2 recharge IOs in it
good luck and have fun -
put this quick pve build together
gives you capped s/l def and 87.5% recharge, which are the 2 set bonuses i would go for with a melee blaster
