Super Level Inspirations?

So Inspirations, I thought, only came in 3 sizes. Small, medium, large.

Damage- 25%, 33%, 50%

Endurance - 25%, 33%, 50%

Resistance - 10%, 15%, 20%

Defense - 12.5%, 25%, 33%.

But tonight I went to the auction house and I noticed new ones in the list, or at least ones I hadn't seen before, under the "Super!" Heading.

Damage - Furious Rage - 100%

Endurance -Back in The Fight - 100%

Defense - Amazing Luck - 50%

Resistance - Resistant - 30%.

These are all pretty amazing stats, and there are some for, Accuracy, break free type, and wakies too with some amazing stats for inspirations.

Perhaps the most amazing is one that has the Icon of a W, like a wentworths teleporter inspiration and it's called "Ultimate". The description says : "Level Difference +1. Ultimate Shifts your Combat Level by 1 when compared to the Combat Level of the enemies you are fighting. You may only use one Ultimate Inspiration at a time."

IE. It's a level shift in inspiration form ,though it doesn't say how long it lasts.

So when did these "Super" level inspirations show up and how do I get them?

Tier 4 inspirations have not yet been added to the drop pool.

There is no date for when they will be added to the drop pool.

No other method aside from random dropping has been indicated for Tier 4 inspiration obtention.

They've been showing up in the market screen since GR came out. I believe they were first noted in GR beta. But they are not obtainable at this time.

Proud member of Everyday Heroes (Infinity Heroes), Dream Stalkers (Infinity Villains), Devil Never Cry (Freedom Heroes), Enclave of EVIL (Pinnacle Villains), Phobia (Infinity Villains), Les Enfant Terribles (Freedom Villains), Gravy Train (Virtue Heroes), and more!

So you can put them on the market and rake in all the inf that people have been storing in bids for nonexistent items?

"You don't lose levels. You don't have equipment to wear out, repair, or lose, or that anyone can steal from you. About the only thing lighter than debt they could do is have an NPC walk by, point and laugh before you can go to the hospital or base." -Memphis_Bill
We will honor the past, and fight to the last, it will be a good way to die...

I know necrobump.. but just a thought. What sort of content would require a whole 50% def? The only reason I can think of is if softcap for future content will become a thing of a past.. (perhaps by having future incarnate content have base 75%-100% hit chance for mobs?)

I don't have an answer but here is some possible Incarante Lore powers

The middle one, it grants 50% AOE defense.

The was some (itty bitty) discussion of needing that much defense in that thread

If some future Incarante content used Diminishing Returns these buffs would be needed.

Warden: the developers have been very explicit that there are no Diminishing Returns planned for any PvE content.

It was indicated during the Going Rogue testing period that one of the reasons the developers were implementing Tier 4 inspirations was to give players without maximized IO builds the situational opportunities available to players with maximized IO builds and unlocked Rare and Very Rare Alpha Slots, such as soft-capped defense and the [Ultimate] level shift.

As I recall they said they had no intention of using DR for PvE as a whole but reserved the right to use it in select encounters.

hmm.....

Positron begins to shake wildly, staggering backwards. After a few moments, he becomes still, breathing lightly.

"Positron?"

"No, not Positron. You may know me as the Well of the Furies."

"How do you know you are on the side of good?" a Paragon citizen asked him. "How can we even know what is 'good'?"

"The Most High has spoken, even with His own blood," Melancton replied. "Surely we know."
