Windows 7 64 bit?

Hey guys.

Building a new PC set up to run Windows 7 64 bit. How well will CoH run on this?

Thanks!

(btw assuming no other problems, just curious about the operating system)

64 bit is just fine - I run coh on win7 ultimate 64 no problems.

Win 7 Pro - 64 Bit here..........no issues! Much more stable for me than it was on the same rig that used to run XP Pro SP3.

I can confirm that Windows 7 64 bit Home Premium Edition is also extremely stable.

Had AVG eat a couple of my DLLs in XP-64 a few weeks back. Unrestorable. Cue emergency upgrade to Win7 Ultimate 64-bit.

So far, few problems.

Clicking on the linked image above will take you off the City of Heroes site. However, the guides will be linked back here.

Seems we're in a cave as I echo this too.

Have been using Win 7 64 bit Ultimate for over a year now. I have it installed on two machines I built myself. Both run CoH daily. I'm very happy with the OS and have had no issues with CoH. I'm using Microsoft's free Microsoft Security Essentials for an anti-virus anti-malware solution.

Yep, also no problems, with the game or anything else. Win 7 x64 Ultimate here, been rock solid.

Just remember to set up the shortcut to run the updater in administrator mode, if you install City of Heroes to the default location.

My most recent set of CoH/CoV disks are many issues old. When going from an XP machine to an XP machine, I can save a lot of updater time by copying the latest folders, does this work going to a Windows 7 machine?
