Which toon will you Alpha out first?

I'm pretty sure I want to Alpha my all-human Warshade first, although I'm not exactly sure which boost to go for. I might do the recharge one.

I also want to Alpha my DP/Psy Blaster; I don't think anything can help with his squishiness, but at least he'll do more damage.

Finally, once my Hero Stalker Isolator hits 50 I'm going to Alpha her, either with damage or with something that gives +Def at the higher boost levels.

ill prolly alpha my badger first, for you know, the badges

then after i mostly finished badging, ill start going through all 18 of my other lvl 50 toons to at least get them the alpha slot

as to what im gonna slot in each of them i havent really thought about it all that much lol

Hmmmm. Likely I'll try to get my main hero and villain first. Going totry to do almost all the o-zone stuff on everyone and then do random choices; want to get the new TF's opened up.

Going to be a LONG process to do on everyone, especially with the damn respecs also on deck.

im not too worried about insta respeccing most of my toons, my stone brute i think i prolly wont even respec at all, i like his build as is, the other 4 toons im working on will prolly only pick up some LOTG mules or travel powers (my dom will pick up 3 LOTG mules, my ill troller will prolly pick up 2 LOTG mules and a travel power)

Yeah, the only ones I'm going to do respecs immediately are my four non-level 50 characters, as they'll benefit the most from it. Would like to get the 50's done, mainly so they have a much better time doing exemped task forces. But then again, it's not like they're going to be doing a lot of those for a while.

Hmm, not sure which of my many alts I'll alpha first.
It'll be the namesake and none of the rest. He's also the only one I'll bother to respec. I'll actually have 4 new powers to choose since I got the 60 month badge yesterday.

Going to start working towards a Cardiac Boost for the end reduction then work towards a Cardiac Radial Boost for the added damage resit.

Planning to spend a lot of time hanging out in Ouroboros running the unlock arc to farm shards. I imagine a lot of folks will like a hand with the EB's and I imagine Hamster will be running alpha unlock teams for all his alts.

My namesake. I like to experience new content (and get new badges) with him first. Not sure after that. Probably my "regulars" that I like to bring on level 50 TF's - my Cold defender and corruptor, my Ill/Rad, etc.. Other than that whatever I've been enjoying playing lately.

Question. Why did you choose the thumbs down icon for the thread?

I always thought that was the question mark.

Now that I notice the blue circle with the question mark, I can't change it.

Linarra, my first 50 and my main, archery blaster. After that, my Ill/Rad is versatile, my Widow is lots of fun, my Rad defender makes everything easier for my team, my other archer is very strong... it will be hard to choose.

My Kat/SR Scrapper first (for endurance), followed by my Stalker (for damage), and then probably my Grav/Kin Troller (for either recharge or endurance).

Eventually, I intend to have every boost built for my Scrapper, so I can switch them out situationally. The accuracy boosts have options to increase defense, so I can use that when endurance will be covered by team buffs and extra defense is necessary (Master run TFs, for example)... and more damage and recharge are always nice options as well.

Ugh, don't want to even think about this. I will have a couple of days next week (some holiday thing) that I will have off and some free time.

I guess my 1st 50 (scrapper) then likely my widow. After that...well, probably be bogged down in respecs. Add in that the incarnate stuff will have some effects by ED, this will make it a bit challenging to figure out what to slot with.

All in all pretty sad that I will probably miss a lot of the TFs to get shards and stuff to slot with due to schedule. KHAAANNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!

The respecs just depress me. I'm still torn between going ape **** on them or doing them spread over a month. Going to do my four non-50's, though. Or do them as I play them.

First 3 are the most important, the namesake and the TF toons. Ion is just another scrapper variation I have, and Amn... hopefully, will be coming out of retirement tomorrow.

Dreading the respecs as well, unlock our enhancement slots, damnit!

Desmodas Siazar (DM/DA scrapper) and Desnocta Blades (BS/DA scrapper) will have their Cardiac Radials within 48 hours of Issue 19 release. This will give me one red side and one blue side scrapper to work on.

If I start up my 2nd account this week, I'll then Incarnate Sinllema (fire/fire blaster) and take her red side. Desmagda (BS/WP) scrapper will be next, but not rushing to her.

After those four, I may start leveling up some of my lower level alts. All depends on how easily things go. 18 hour timers are kind of limiting. I could see all of my 50s getting their Alpha slots unless Issue 20 comes out soon after.

Grey Pilgrim is going to be my Tank to alpha, obviously. Going Cardiac for him, mostly for the extra damage resists, but also so he can run Maneuvers without too much worry (after I19, that's one of the powers he's picking up, along with TP Friend and Build Up).

I'm going to move on to other ATs first before I get alphas for any other tanks. Crey Hunter is one of my favorite Scrappers, but my new Kin/Dark Scrapper is quite fun, too. Rech/Heal might be the route for either, or maybe damage. *shrugs*

Blasters... oy, I have no idea. I have an Arch/Dev, EM/EM, and Dual Pistols/EM that I rather like equally. I'll have to choose there. I don't think any really need more recharge, so they might go for more damage (musculature) with them.

Magistero is my obvious support character to go for. Haven't thought much about him yet, as he'll go later. Same thing for my Stalker redside and my Triform PB (not sure if he should get Musculature or Spiritual).

Man, getting all indecisive about which initial alpha each of my characters will get. Problem is that so many of the secondary effects when you are upgrading them are useless to many characters, especially the damage/* ones.

That gif is hilarious.

Thinking of Alphing my main. Has anyone run the numbers on invuln? Can they be closer to stone now with the alpha slot?

both can get to softcap defense to all types without much trouble. inv will be capped to s/l res, like a stone tank would be (assumed granite), but you'll still only be carrying about half the resistance to f/c/e/n that a stone tank would.

So... technically, no. They aren't quite equal. In reality, though, I'd rather be an inv tank because they don't have all the penalties a stone tank does for that much survivability.

I'll be Alpha slotting my Fire/Dark Vill Corr first, then my Plant/Fire Dom hero. Can't wait to see what kind of AoE power they'll have now.

Well, a Tank in Granite can reduce some of their issues even further with the Alpha slot, keep in mind. They can add on to run speed and recharge enhancements they already have, which would make Granite less of a difficulty. Not being able to jump would still keep me leery of the set, though.

I'll have to see what angle I want to give my Invuln tank... whenever I get around to him. If ever. They are going to keep adding on slots to this, after all.
