Accolade question

Are Accolades (specifically, Geas of the Kind Ones) affected by things such as Recharge bonuses? More specifically, if my Defender is sitting at 380% Global Recharge (accounting for Geas of the Kind Ones itself), will it recharge any faster? Or are Accolades unaffected?

The Accolade Powers and 'Temp' Powers that are not flagged to be unenhanceable to Recharge Reduction do benefit from global recharge such as Hasten and IO Recharge Bonuses.

So far the ones that are not affected by Global Recharge are Mission Transporter and one other popular one whose name escapes me for the moment, but someone will be by to fill us in.

Geas is indeed affected by global recharge.

I can vouch that the clicky accolades are affected by global recharge, as my warshade is able to use Eye of the Magus way too often for his own good.

I don't know if recharge affects it, but the power cannot be stacked.

Also, I've heard reports that the recent Alignment powers are not affected by global recharge. Can anyone confirm?

Alignment powers are not affected by global recharge. Seems like any "extra powers" that came out after i11.5 are not affected by recharge, yet another way of Castle saying "SCREW YOU! HA HA HA" to IO'd players.

It's also worth noting that Geas/FoN affects its own recharge (much like Hasten) and the recharge of every other accolade that can be affected by recharge

I'm sure you already know this, but for anyone who doesn't:

Geas of the Kind Ones has a 1 minute duration and a 25 minute recharge. In order to make it permanent, you need 2500% recharge (duration/recharge*100%). You have 100% recharge by default, so you need +2400% more. Recharge caps at 500% or +400% buff or 1/5th base recharge (all the same thing). If base recharge is ever more than 5x the power's duration, it is impossible to make it permanent.

That said, if Geas is perma, so is Archmage, so I want perma Geas too!

Geas also helps itself recharge, which is a rather nice side to the main course.

For the record, I have a Mids build sitting at a roughly 3 minute recharge for Force of Nature. (The accolade, not the power)

Unless my math is WAY off. Which, given how horrible my math skills are, is possible.

If you have FoN activated in mids, it'll show it as ALL powers being permanently affected by FoN

... I can haz mathz, really. After reminding myself what the base recharge and duration of Force of Nature are... And of course, how many seconds are in a minute (that's an annoying one... lol), I re-calculated the build. Force of Nature should be roughly 18 minute recharge. My, do I feel retarded. >.>

Global Recharge affects Secondary Mutation, unless that icon just likes to fill and get clicked, removing my old effect minutes before the previous goes away on its own.
