I, for one, welcome our Rikti Overlords and look forward to serving them.. Okay so I look forward to kicking alien BUTT. LOL
So two weekend of ToT and Zombies followed immediately by a weekend of drop ships, A bombs and hordes. TFers take note.. running a Numina may NOT be a great idea that weekend and those doing Synapse.. Rikti invasions will eliminate that Babbage spawn in Skyway right before you battle the Clockwork King. ;-(
Now "FALL" historically runs out no later than December 20th or 21st and we have been promised I-19 in the

But I'm not complaining about a Rikti Invasion. Been a while since we've seen one of those in full-swing.

I was just hoping an invasion event would come along. I know some of you may be bored and want it dropped, but come on, lots of us have characters stuck half way to a nifty accolade power. I know that people can get bored with repetition, but as has been said, it's not old hat to everyone. Besides I'd rather see more events added, or things expanded rather the the existing ones removed/replaced.

Do you at least get a purple drop or a badge for taking out a drop ship? If not I just can't see why anyone would bother.

I don't mind killing a GM for a badge and a merit or two. I'll even join others to help them get the badge, but without the badge, it just isn't worth it to me. I will admit I wouldn't mind doing it once just to see it done though, but I wouldn't ever do it again.

Bashing Rikti never gets old, but more than that these kinds of community events are what MAKE an MMO. They're generally only a pain if you're pathologically insistent on soloing. I won't be taking part in every one, sure, but I know I'll be looking forward to the sky turning green between mission instances!

Hmmm... The only con is that Saturday is my 21st birthday and the family plans to take me to the local casino. (Perhaps I can argue that there will be no casinos if the Rikti have their way?)
