No inspirations or temp powers used. Never needed instant healing.

I also duoed Lady Winter with my wife's Storm / Elec defender and my WP/Mace tanker. My tanker had a considerably more difficult time. I wound up kiting / jousting a good part of each of these fights until my wife cut loose with ALL of her knockbacks. She put Lady Winter on her back for almost half the fight, With Lady Winter running away from her Tornado the rest.

    The Defence Myth

    Interesting post.

By your calculator I should be able to survive for just under two minutes facing 5k dps using my current build (without using my clicky heal).

I'll have to turn up the difficulty a few notches and see how accurate that is after I finish converting back to a hero

    My Claws/Regen Scrapper is next.

Edit: oops, the above seems off-topic. Trapdoor was an EB. Well, I suck, so there :P
I managed it on my claws / regen, but I'll admit to using a lot of purples and reds while fighting Hero 1.

Two of those can more than pay for an entire build if you wait for the market to cool down after everyone is done respeccing. Patience is the key to not wasting influence on the market.
I've been using my hero merits to buy LotG +recharge and Numina's IO's, then selling them to bankroll my characters.

1 week of farming a couple hours a night and I'm pretty much set on everything.

Melee's are soloing this fairly easy and dont want or need to team up with the squishies.

And I saw alot of people saying just drop the mission, its not worth it...

whats the point of putting in a mission so many people are just going to drop.
    I had the opposite complaint.

I thought it was too easy, my hp bar never even moved.

Atlas Park on the Freedom server.

Since they fixed the exploit on the Monkey Farm, there are a dozen people spamming for zombie farms as I write this.
  7. I'm looking at respeccing my Scrapper for i19. Up till now he's not been using the fitness pool, but a lot has changed in the last year.

I have 90% of the IO's I have listed, including all the expensive ones, but can only reasonably spend 100 mil. or so on additional enhancements. It's not listed, but I'm planning on putting a Miracle in the health slot. If anyone wants to supply constructive feedback it would be welcome.

And half of them don't know how to get out of Atlas park.

It'll take them a while just to find the mission.

Maybe I'm alone here, but I HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE HATE having to do missions to unlock content. It's probably the biggest complaint I have with the game. Capes, Auras, ITF, even Patron powers. It is so irritating to have to do a certain arc just to be able to go do some thing fun/interesting. I have like four level 50s who can't access capes just it's such a pain to unlock them.

I've been told it's a short arc, but I really don't care...Having to do it on every toon I want Incarnate access on would be so tedious. I didn't think it would be easy or quick to be able to become Incarnate, but having to do a story arc is just annoying. I don't expect to use the Incarnate system at all.
    I'll counter you.

I absolutely love doing missions to unlock content. I'm happy they chose this mechanics and hope they continue to do so for all the remaining Incarnate slots.

How effective would the +2 magnitude hold proc from Lockdown be if slotted into a demon prince?

Oh, and if my robots KB everything and cause mass chaos one more time, I'm going to scream and throw things at them.

You know, stuff like that. I kinda wanna ask other ATs which mastermind pets annoy them and why, but I don't think I should post in 11 other archetype boards.
So, what annoys you about YOUR pets?
    1. They keep getting in my way when I try to click on things.
    2. They enjoy blocking my line of sight during fights.

    A god with a gun

How does a "normal" with a gun or a sword(replace "sword" with any melee weapon, "gun" is universal as it pertains to firearms)handle growing godlike powers?

A man using barehands and feet, or utilizing any element, I'd understand(for the bare-handed godlikes, see the Dragonball saga), but if you are simply a man(or woman)with a gun or sword(however technologically advanced), how would that work?
By this logic, the Silver Samurai would just be a man with a sword.

Of course, for him, the quality of the sword does not matter. He can cut a tank in half with a plastic sword. Ironic, since he currently hold a sentient katana of considerable power.

I would sorely miss the AE.

It gives my characters a quick means of picking up the occasional rare salvage I don't already have in the bank and refuse to pay stupid prices for.

As for the rest, /shrug, my 22 tanker is halfway towards earning her +3 def gladiators doing tip missions

I just finished the Maria Jenkins arc on my claws / regen scrapper.

Tyrant was a fun little fight, but not really challenging once the adds went down.
Nosferatu is still the one that I find most difficult.

    3. Do you think the dynamic will change after the implementation of the Incarnate system?

    4. Whatever else you wish to add.
    1. They can already be soloed. It's not just an idea.

    2. I solo EB's all the time. I solo AV's occasionally.
I've never seriously tried a GM.
I don't really even play my scrapper on anything less than +1/x3
I still have a lot of room to grow before I am maxed.
Fighting an EB I actually have to pay attention and and sometimes even use tactics
Fighting an AV I have to be careful and plan my attacks out, mistakes = death
Soloing an AV feels awesome. I beat something had a real chance of winning.

    3. The dynamics will have to change to keep the game challenging to the incarnates.
