Lockdown proc
Hmmmm... not sure, it seems to work well in my Ice/Ice Blaster. I got one in each of the 3 holds and I see that Tesla Cage it makes often
Probably not worth it. The prince only has 1 hold.
- The laws of science were, first, God's laws. We didn't make them, we just gave them a name...likely not the name their creator gave them.
- No, no. Humans made them. The same way we made gravity, the atomic bomb, Cheetos, babies, and water.
Just because you can slot the proc in the Demon Prince doesn't mean that it will work on all his powers. It will actually only work on those of his powers that actually have a hold component - in this case just 1.
Same goes for all types of procs that you can put into pets, so depending on the actual powers the pet uses some procs are less useful than they sound.
British by act of union, English by grace of God, Northern by pure good fortune!
It works better in Poison Gas Trap, if you have it.
My guides:Dark Melee/Dark Armor/Soul Mastery, Illusion Control/Kinetics/Primal Forces Mastery, Electric Armor
"Dark Armor is a complete waste as a tanking set."

I think he is getting confused with the 'Chance to Hold' proc from Decimation and a couple of other sets. There is a difference. Lockdown's proc doesn't add a chance to hold to your attack, it adds a chance to increase the Magnitude of that hold by a whole 2 points (nothing to scoff at, even in PvP).
You'd want it in a power that fires often or AoEs, like with most procs. Consider that this has the potential to make even relatively weak holds particularly powerful.

How effective would the +2 magnitude hold proc from Lockdown be if slotted into a demon prince?
