Why hold off for i19?
No one wants to play right now on a Stamina-less toon?

Respec-ing is a huge pain in the butt?
Never argue with stupid people. They drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
@vanda1 and @nakoa2
Because I can't stick 6 slots into inherent health and 4 into inherent stamina right now? So... why bother respecing now?
Be well, people of CoH.

The posts so far cover my reasons for waiting.
1) The process of a respec is annoying
2) I know I'm going to want to respec a lot of characters in I19
3) Playing without Stamina isn't something I'm willing to do
Given (1), I'm unenthused about doing an respecs above and beyond those planned for (2). Given (3), avoiding more respecs by doing an I19 respec early isn't an option. (It's not really an option anyway, because I want to slot set IOs in the powers I wouldn't be taking.) That means that my most attractive option is to wait.

Funny, I enjoy respecs. the only thing I do not like about them is re sorting my power trays. But actually picking powers, deciding builds is way cool. Personal thing I guess. So the option to rewrite is always welcome. I am actually surprised they make it so difficult to do in the game. Limited respecs = less enjoyable characters/game experience. The more you can rewrite the work you already have done, the more you have the opportunity to enjoy it with less mistakes/worries/hassles.
I like respeccing too, but I hate it when I screw it up. My own problem, I know. Anyone else hit themselves with a sock full of nickels over forgetting hasten?
I'm playing 2 MMs and 2 Brutes all without fitness right now in their 20's. Some EndRed ios and it's not too bad. The MMs are definitely easier to handle though.
All of my i19 builds have 4 slots in reserve for health and stamina. If I did a respec now I'd have to put those slots somewhere then respec again.

This.
Omg....am I ever gonna have ALOT of toons who will need a respec and some constructive "build" planning....omg....I absolutely LOVE the change, but that is the darkside of it.....I have over 25 lvl 50's who will need constructive respec's and build planning and well over 50 alts all over lvl 25 who will need it as well.....lol....fun fun. But eh...worth it....just not sure if I'm ready to roll new toons this minute with such a workload ahead of me.....just don't wanna "add them" to the stack lol :/
Pretty much, painful without stamina. My brute runs out of blue SO fast soloing. Then I have to sit around for two or three weeks waiting for blue to come back.
Post I19, this wouldn't happen.
I think OP is saying that the free respec coming in i19 will allow you to respec into a Stamina-less build, so there's no reason not to start playing a new character now (just take Fitness, as usual and respec later).
But I'll have to echo the 'too-many-characters-to-respec-in-i19' problem. Respeccing is an annoying process and many people will have to do it several times, in a row. It will get tedious.
It's the level 1-19 range which sucks right now... That, and/or the shortage of real power picks in the teens.

Respec'ing now would not benefit you at all. You would:
1) remove Stamina, Health and either Swift/Hurdle. All of these powers I use and slot accordingly with very useful IOs. I would miss them. Not having them will kill my Endurance. What's the benefit of respec'ing and reomoving Stamina now? So I can wait for Issue 19 staminaless?? No thanks.
2) There's no way to slot Stamina and Health as inherent. So again, there's no benefit whatsoever.
3) Respec'ing is a pain in the ***. I'd rather be playing, where I can get influence, salvage, fun with my teammates.
4) Issue 19 can be delayed!! We are all assuming it'll be released sometime in November. That can change on a dime depending on the whims of the Devs. I'm not going to take out Stamina without a confirmed date of release.
Sorry, I'd like to enjoy playing my characters.

@Gilia1
I play heroes on Champion.
I play villains on Virtue.
Okay, I am pretty sure that the OP meant a "new toon" when he said beginning a build.

Doesn't change the fact that every character I have, new or old, will have to be respeced once I-19 hits live. Having 3 slotted stamina at level 3 sounds too good to pass up.
Be well, people of CoH.

Well that's a different story. I've started quite a few new characters lately. I just ignore fitness altogether. Keeping sprint bound to G helps me ignore the lack of swift and only one of the newbies has hit 20 so far.

Respeccing is a bit of a pain, but I'm looking at this as a chance to refine and try some new things. I'm pretty sure I have fitness on all of may characters, so 3 new powers to play with will be fun. Some of the builds I have are pretty old and variety is the spice of Paragon City
I have concepts that must be realized! They cannot wait for inherent stamina, and I don't want to create two builds, so I'm just playing without stamina.
It's a Dark Armor Stalker that's currently level 40. Without Stamina.
Where to now?

Can't speak for other people, but I'm not letting the anticipation of I19 stop me from playing as usual. In fact, I've been playing a lot of lowbies recently. And just in case they get to 20 or over before I19 hits, I've been picking up fitness powers.
I'm holding off on any respecs, because the reason that I want to respec doesn't exist yet.

I tried to skip fitness on my new claws/sr brute. I snapped at 22 and respeced into swift/health/stamina. Now he's the sickening blender that he should be. I'll respec him again come I-19.

Okay, 23% of the posts (this number is arrived at scientifically, follow this thread for data DATA_THREAD) lately have talked about waiting for i19 before beginning a build. Everyone knows there will be a free respec with i19, right? So the logic in waiting is.....
