Miranda sighed and looked over at her gang said to them "Kill the quickly, The have already suffered enough in this life"
Big fist the largest of Miranda's group turned to her and said "Sure thing miss we know what to do" The gang rushed towards the nearest group of zombies with thier guns drawn. Miranda sighed as a tear fell down her cheek and pulled her pistols from her belt. "Damn smoke" Miranda muttered before following her gang taking aim at the nearest zombie.
I have had my eyes opened... and without the people I love I would of never of gained my wings...

She flew as fast as she could manage, given the situation. The brown-cloaked figure continued heading up north. She felt disappointed that she didn’t find anything useful in the buildings she skimmed through. She also felt annoyed at the nature of the island. Being unable to use her telepathy, unable to know exactly where everyone around is made her feel blind. She had time to spend on those thoughts as she sped above the ground. She has studied the map of the island, or what she could find about it, before she left for it so she knew more or less where the points of interests could be. The huge cloud of smoke coming from the jungles ahead caused her to fly lower. Not like it mattered, her goal was right ahead. She was beginning to have trouble with seeing as ash slowly gathered over her red goggles, but soon enough she would be under a protective roof again, she hoped. As she got closer, she aimed herself at one of the broken windows on the old Insidium plant. As she flew through it, she protected herself from the remaining sharp bits of glass still in the frame, although her baggy brown clothes and long cloak suffered a few rips. Quickly slowing down to a halt in mid air once inside, she looked around the area.

As its Brothers attacked the tanks, the third and final Feral finished hunting the soldiers and turned its attention to the newcomers. The Nighthunter's team and the werewolves. It stalked the burning wrecks and began to head towards Miranda and her team as their guns began to ring out at the Zombies.

Lucard hurtled as fast as he could down the mineshaft. As he passed Leon and those around him, including the dragon, he yelled back "THERES SOMETHING BLOCKING THE ENTRANCE! MOVE AHEAD!". He carried on towards the broken elevator.

Erez'Zul stepped back as the elevator opened, wondering whether it would take them somewhere new or just close up around them, another trap set by Tomb.
He turned around to look at Damsel, smiling as he did.
"Ladies first..."
As he spoke, the demon he had shocked before jolted awake, the electrical blast it had received was only meant to stun it for so long.
It slowly stood up, its two front claws pounding the ground hard. The demon stretched out before bringing its head up, roaring loudly as it did.
By this time the smaller demonling had made its way back, ready to join its fellow demon in guarding the plant from others like its master had told them to.
As the demon roared Erez'Zul showed a fake look of surprise.
"And i think thats our queue to run, come on, get in!"
Both Erez'Zul and Screecher rushed into the elevator, ready to go wherever it would take them once Damsel stepped inside.

Destroyer tilted his head slightly as the vampire pressed its face against the glass, he went closer to the glass, remaining still for a moment, then proceeded to lick the glass as the vampire had done.
Looking around the room again he noticed the doors leading out.
He started walking towards the doors to the north, he passed a few more glass tubes before he stopped. He turned to look at the vampire he had seemingly awoken, trapped with the glass tube with no arms or legs.
Walking towards the glass again he looked at the vampire once more.
He remained still for a few moments before placing his arms around the tube, pulling as hard as he could he started to dislodge the tube, the red liquid started to pour all over the floor as the tube dislodged, releasing the vampire inside.
Destroyer bent his legs, propelling himself forwards at incredible speed at one of the other tubes, it dislodged as the machinery holding it together broke in pieces.
He flew at another tube, doing the same as before, bouncing from one tube to another until the floor started to flood with the red liquid, the vampires flopping down on the floor.
After releasing roughly ten of them the red liquid had nearly flooded the room, coming just over knee length.
He decided to press on, moving to the northern door, as he opened it the red liquid poured through.
Closing the door behind him the room began to empty, a spray hitting his body, possibly cleaning it of any infectants. The room started to heat up now, drying him before the doors opened, revealing a new room.
Destroyer walked into the room, glancing around to see what this new room was used for.

<Translated from Russian> <This is ******* crazy!> one of the soldiers says <Quit your ******** Dimitri, we have been well paid for this.> Another says. The doors of the APC open, six men sliding out, bruised and battered but otherwise unharmed by the rapid journey and explosive ending. Each are wearing dark Spetsnaz like uniforms, combat helmets and flak jackets, each is armed with an AK-47, which after a brief moment of confusion… <Aiieeeee it’s Baba Yaga!> One of the soldiers screams out noticing Patsy and her current state. They train their guns on Patsy. "You who are you?” the squad leaders asks in rough, broken English. |
Patsy slapped an open palm against her forehead as soon as she found herself facing the business end of several assault rifles. So much for the sneaky approach, the immortal thought to herself.
At first, she simply frowned at the soldiers, particularly the idiot that called her Baba Yaga. That wasn't hard pick up amid all the foreign rambling and ranting. From where she was crouching, she could see that attacking them head-on wouldn't have been the smartest of things to do - She'd taken enough of a beating already, so getting pounded by hundreds of AK rounds was only going to knock her down and out, at least for several hours.
She couldn't afford that delay, so she decided to take the careful approach by standing up slowly, with her hands held above her head like a good girl.
"Yeah," She said, carefully approaching what may or may not have been the leader while maintaining her non-threatening stance, "Uh, I'm just wonderin' where the nearest workin' shower is."
A slight smirk formed on her muddied face.
"Maybe if one of yous points me in the right direction, I might let you join me."

F11. The field sparks, and bulges, the air shifting as the darkness of the cave billows outwards, with a whumwhumwhum noise, the field breaks, revealing the cave to be much deeper, in fact an entire submarine dock was hidden by the field, machines running on automated programming are in the process of loading things into a medium sized submarine.
The machines are for the most part robotic arms mounted on the docks, though several are flatbed caterpillar tracked ones that drive back and forth delivering and receiving supplies from robotic arms. The submarine is pink, and has been decorated with the ten thousand yard stare and smile of a ‘My Little Pony’. |
Priest could see a light at the distant end of the cave tunnels after the field shattered. He jetted ahead at high speed until the submarine dock came into view. "My God" he prayed silently. Something about seeing the bright pink submarine with it's pretty pony paintwork, brought a tear to his eye.
"Tyran... what kind of a world do we live in, where the innocent soul of a child is caused to become so twisted and so lost that it ends up here, living like this? This young girl needs help. We cannot let her be executed. My daughter for instance loves My Little Pony. The thought of something happening to her to turn her into someone like Tomb... it would be the greatest failure. In all honesty, we should hold ourselves accountable, as members of this society, for what has turned this little girl into a cold and calculating mass-murdering outcast. She's no more a villain than the victim of man's own evil ways. Surely you'll agree?"
E4... He turned around to look at Damsel, smiling as he did.
"Ladies first..." As he spoke, the demon he had shocked before jolted awake, the electrical blast it had received was only meant to stun it for so long. Both Erez'Zul and Screecher rushed into the elevator, ready to go wherever it would take them once Damsel stepped inside. |
Damsel stared at Dominic long and hard, hardly fooled by his poor acting. She sighed and stepped into the elevator. As the door closed, she half expected to hear the annoying drone of elevator music. "You know Dominic," she said. "I have no qualms with demon summoning but what I do hate, more the devil itself, is pretence. This whole charade is a travesty and an insult to my intelligence. Drop the act and come clean or at least shut the hell up. Are we clear?"
Inside the Elevator, Old Insidium Plant (E4)
Screecher looked at his master, and though his face was, as always, expressionless, he wondered greatly if they were about to start fighting inside this small enclosed area.
Erez'Zul stared for a moment before grinning, he started to chuckle before full out laughing.
"Apologies, of all the hunters ive met i have to admit you are the most cunning, as you've proven to me before...yes, perhaps i should not have tried to deceive you, but im in a rush."
He ran his fingers through his still blonde hair, pulling it back into a ponytail once more, tying the string around it again.
"If you knew who i was you wouldnt have followed me and quite frankly i could use the help, ive already lost two demons and that was just to a bunch of toy soldiers. Whatever you may believe of me im here to help Tomb, as i did you before, i had a chance to hurt you or i could have left you to be picked off by someone else, yet i didnt."
Erez'Zul looked down for a minute, thinking about why he was here once more. He looked up at Damsel again.
"If it makes you feel any better my name really is Dominic."

Within the Mine
"Find Miss Tomb, and by dint of that find everyone else on this rock," Leon said quietly, heading after the giant mech-like creature. "We settle a few little bits of business and then I, for one, am quite ready for home, a glass of something strong, a warm bath and a good book," he added with a chuckle. Lawrence merely rolled his eyes, Maria glancing behind them as they moved on.
Leon nodded minutely. He could feel others moving up behind them as well. |
Lucard hurtled as fast as he could down the mineshaft. As he passed Leon and those around him, including the dragon, he yelled back "THERES SOMETHING BLOCKING THE ENTRANCE! MOVE AHEAD!". He carried on towards the broken elevator.
|
Letting himself lower again as Lucard continued on, Vyachslav did the same. After all, he had no intent of heading back outside just yet, so he didn't much care whether or not the entrance was blocked - or what was blocking it, for that matter. No, that dubious honor belonged to the path ahead, for he couldn't just avoid the various traps by simply flying along. Not enough room for his wings in here, hence why he'd folded them away.
True, he didn't have much to fear from razor wire or claymores (or rather the few that still worked properly after the eruption), merely snapping the former by walking through and squashing the latter with his fingertips as they came into reach. More than one still exploded of course, Tomb's mercenaries being competent enough to include a bit of tamper-proofing, but none of them truly slowed his advance. The toxin pit was a different story, though. That he avoided by stepping over.
It thus took him longer than Lucard to reach the elevator, but that didn't mean it was time wasted. Quite the contrary, as he used it to 'discuss' a certain phone call with the ship he'd left off the northern shore. Regrettably, the directive to track it to Tomb didn't yield any results, the electronic exchange between the Rogue Isles and the local ISP heading over the Necrotelicom from there - a form of communication of which the vessel wasn't even aware, thus making it impossible for it to track. Still, it at least provided one clue: that Tomb really was somewhere around here.
Meanwhile, what were the others doing? Had Lucard already reached the elevator, perhaps even descended down the shaft to the doors that Destroyer had mangled to prevent, or at least slow, passage of people following him? Were Emerald the the DeFeurards still behind him? Or had they perchance gone after the brazen man when he'd zipped past...?

The hooded figure floated just under the ceiling of the Insidium plant. She winced and shivered as the demonic roar echoed throughout the abandoned building and slowly headed towards its origin. She stayed silent and stealthy. As she approached the two beasts she peered in at them, also noticing the hole in the wall behind them. She looked around for anything that could be useful; she didn’t want to confront the two demons directly, not knowing how powerful they could be. She noticed some rubble that was laying all over the place, her hand moving slowly and a small pile of concrete floated up into the air as she moved it telekinetically. Her gaze returned to the demons and her hand twitched, the slab of concrete flew past the demon’s sight, close enough for them to notice but also fast enough so they couldn’t tell what it was, far into the depths of the processing plant. The demons looked at the area where the object flew to, then got up and chased after it, wagging their tails happily.
The cloaked girl smiled under her mask before lowering herself down onto the floor in front of the hole and walked in through it. She followed down the corridor, looking around and noticed the big metal door. She pressed the button and waited, looking around again, checking if the demons lost their distraction. She pressed it a few more times and waited a little longer. After nothing happened she shook her head and pressed her hand against the metal door, concentrating she pushed them open apart, just enough for her slim form to sneak in before they closed behind her with a clank. She floated in the elevator shaft and slowly lowered herself down, keeping close to the middle of it.

He let the denial hang in the air for a moment.
"A few centuries ago, I came across a village of farmers. Proud and relatively carefree, they seemed to want for nothing. They worked hard, celebrated life and watched as their children played in the forests. Then one night; they came for me, bearing their pitchforks and scythes as weapons of war and I slaughtered them all. You see they had all died centuries before, their bodies possessed by demons who kept up the pretense in order to lure more souls to their master.
The point I'm getting at it is that sometimes the cover is just that. It may look innocent, it may even take the form of innocence but sometimes it is only used by the darkness to hide their true face."
Tyran swished his swords round.
"But I guess we'll see when we see her."

E4, The Abandoned Insidium Plant
The group of undead soldiers and werewolves finally reached the Insidium Plant. Jack tried to make out if it was used for viral storage. He had experience from working in the Sharkhead mines after all. The group was stumbling and any stealth they might have had in the beginning was long gone.
“Ok maggots-for-brains and pack… This is a possible place. I want this thing burned to the ground and the leftovers destroyed! Find a good place to start.”, he howled… then started up his flamethrower and nodded to the zombie knight carrying the other one to do the same.
The few knights with guns got primed to guard them during the attack…
D4, Just inside The Old Insidium Mine
Suddenly Vladimir got run through by a huge katana blade! The shock made the ancient dark sorcerer drop to the floor… his instincts clearly reacting more then his mind as his body was dead already and would get up from a wound like this.
Elizabeth looked up to what she was facing… trusting her Shadow Fall to hide her. In the dark it was like the wall was moving but with two blades flashing at the far ends. “Dark lords!”, Elizabeth uttered… “A Golem!?” Then she got hit by the side of its arm and dropped backwards… painfully realising that her ability to hide in the shadows wasn’t working on this thing. “Dimitri… keep it occupied!”, she yelled to the knights who drew their swords and blasted the thing with dark energy.
The vampire queen rose from the floor by lifting her body in the air and floated to Vladimir. “Get up fool! This body can’t die that easily.”, she looked at how the three minions where being knocked around by the huge creature without doing any damage at all. “We need to come up with a way to destroy that thing.”
“I am sorry mistress…”, the dead voice from the lich stumbled out. “Yes, we cannot pass it!”
The wraith Elizabeth had summoned to be of use spying was suddenly appearing through the front of the creature. Its Impervium plating not able to stop that what was intangible. “Mooooooore liiiiiiiviinnggg oooones aheeeead…”, It moaned.
She moved her long dark hair to the side and her eyes showed a determined expression… “Then we let the N’Garai take it.” She put her hand on her shoulder-wound which was healing but was still bloody and threw some of the blood on the floor beneath the creature. Then started to chant in a long dead language… her amulet oozed black energies that went to her hands and from there to the blood on the floor. Vladimir realised what she was doing and joined in…
It became colder in the room… and cracks appeared in the floor and walls. Then holes appeared in the cracks, an eerie red light coming out of them. Out of the cracks tentacles appeared who grabbed the armoured legs of the mountain-like creature. The creature fought back which resulted in the three minions being thrown with force against the two knights who fell back and crashed against the wall of the mine.
The cracks became wither… and the room filled with the light coming from them… The tentacles grew bigger and grabbed the top of the being. It span on the spot without moving its legs and started shooting its twin chain-guns mounted on its back. Targeting the cracks and tentacles… A loud inhuman scream came from them and the tentacles started to pull with more force. Slowly the huge almost indestructible creature was being pulled down, down into the dimension of the N’Garai. The demon lords that gave Elizabeth a lot of her dark powers.
The whole process only took about ten minutes, but the battle seemed taking much longer. All the time Elizabeth and Vladimir maintained the spell... only to change the incantation to a binding spell the moment the top of the creature had disappeared inside the cracks. Slowly the cracks closed! And then there was nothing left aside of some rocks spew up where the cracks had been.
Elizabeth her hair was dropped partly over her face… her expression showed exhaustion. More then she would like to reveal. But the way was free.

Gunfire sounded all around as Miranda and her gang took care of the poor souls that had become zombies. A tear rolled down Miranda's cheek as she aimed one of her flint lock pistols at the head of one of the zombies and fired. She noticed "Big Fist" watching her and she rubbed her eye. "Damn smoke" She muttered before firing her other Pistol at another zombie ending is suffering.

The plant is how Damsel, the demons, mercs and Ere'Zul have left it. A smokey, damaged and battle debris covered building.
E4 The Elevator
The elevator begins to descend taking quite some time to arrive at its destination, time that may be quite torturous. As the lift descends it plays music, eighties pop music, but entirely instrumental. That is to say; played entirely on pan pipes.
The elevator doesn’t actually travel that far down, it just does so extremely slowly. It arrives at a room, the elevator opening to face another set of heavy blast doors, the metal doors and the circular shaft they open onto are a dull purplish grey, the markings of an impervium alloy, the metal pulses with static and waves of blue energy and mystic runes run appear on its surface. Above the blast door is a fist sized circular hole.
Doors are situated at the north, south, east and west of the room, the walls pulse with the same blue energy. On each of the doors a sign is posted “Only one may enter.”

Erez'Zul stepped out of the elevator, an annoyed look on his face at having to listen to that music for so long.
He immediately stopped to look at the purple shaft in front of him, looking at the blue energy and strange markings scattered across it. He saw the fist sized hole just above the blast door, wondering whether it was a hole for some sort of key.
He looked around the rest of the room, seeing the 4 doors and the signs above them.
"Only one may enter? At this point im not really willing to argue with it..."
He thought to himself which one might lead somewhere worthy.
North? too obvious.
East? that would be to the right, the right way? definately not
South? thats just plain weird
West? It has to be, the last place anyone ever looks.
"I guess this is where we split up....Screecher, you take that door, ill take this one."
Screecher headed for the Southern door, stepping through it as his master commanded.
Erez'Zul walked towards the Western door, stepping through as well, leaving Damsel to choose her own door and with any luck, to finally be rid of her for now so he could be his true self again.

He looked at the other door, reading 'Footry', he stared at the door for a minute before finally realising what it meant. Though his face was as blank as always. his eyes did widen a little at the shock of it all.
He looked between the two doors and the signs, deciding to move ahead towards the elevator.
He stopped for one moment, his curiosity peaked, walking back to the door marked 'Footry' he reached for the handle.
Shaking his head violently he walked towards the elevator again, stepping inside and pushing the button inside, once again ready to go wherever it would take him.

Patsy complied, only so much as blowing a strand of loose hair away from her face while she kept herself perfectly motionless. Unfortunately, the strand didn't budge, since a tiny bit of dried mud on her cheek kept it pinned down. She sighed and quietly repeated the soldier's last threat in a high-pitched mocking tone to herself.
"Aw, haway, man!", Patsy shouted over before glancing down at her midriff, which had become partially exposed after the lower third of her tank top was shredded to pieces in the botched car-surf. "You're proper turnin' -this- down? Seriously?"
The immortal glanced behind her, at the busted APC. Possibly the only shelter she could run to if they opened fire. It was close enough to dash into and while she would almost certainly take a few hits, it wouldn't be enough to knock her out. Well, barely.
So she ran for it, with only "Sod yous, then!" as a parting shot. And she hoped to find something highly explosive or otherwise useful inside.

E4, the elevator
There was a small thud as the hooded figure landed on top of the elevator. Looking for a way in, she quickly found the emergency escape hatch and pulled it open. She took a peek in before dropping down through the hatch and quickly hovered outside of the elevator. She gently settled her feet on the floor and looked around, now with another person nearby, she was noticeably short, her height reaching barely over 4 feet. She quickly looked around, noticing the various doors in the room before returning her attention to the elevator. The figure gave Damsel a cheery wave and spoke in a young voice “Hey, nice to meet you. Please don’t hurt me?”
